No She is a Christian, just not a Conservative Christian. Crucifixion isn't the punishment for being a "Jesus" it was the punishment for treason and insurrection. People also use the term "crucifixion" as a term to describe being killed by mass hysteria,or martyred. No.. actually I feel that her writing in those songs came from an overdramatic and poetic view of “feeling” this love sickness. It’s a symbolic form of conceiving and expressing ideas in metaphors, in a “tragic” and exaggerated way (which was intentional of hers, because she’s all about art and abstract thinking).
