Ranjani and Gayatri sing the verses of Adi Shankaracharya's profound Dakshinamurti Stotram on Adi Guru. Dakshinamurti is an aspect of Siva, the primordial Guru who is the personification of ultimate awareness and knowledge and bestower of jnana. This rich and complex hymn packs the most evolved philosophic thought, subtlety of expression and is held to be one of the most inspired works of one of greatest Advaita philosophers. Ranjani and Gayatri have set these matchless verses to Raga Yamankalyan.
