Daksinamurti Live @ Shiva Moon - Koh Phangan, Thailand 2019
Here is the first set of mine for the new year ... its one hour recorded from a 3 hour set I played in January for SHIVA MOON at a Sangoma night on the legendary Koh Phangan island in Thailand. The last time I went was in 2003 so lots have changed but the spirit remained the same - although it is not as open anymore and one has to look a bit closer.
Unfortunately, my recorder didn't have more space to record the whole set ... anyway, this should be a glimpse of foresty nighttime music ... Looking forward to be back in Thailand soon. Big thanks to Kia and everyone who made my Thailand trip so special!

I went to Shiva moon back in 2016 it was awesome .. still in Thailand now .. going to the Experience festival in Koh Taoh this year .. can hardly wait .. Bantai Jungle is an awesome venue ..

@@gabrielburgoskim3403 Darkpsy and forest can be vastly different, or nearly similar. Forest is a sub-style of darkpsy so plenty of tracks can be labeled as either, or both. Darkpsy is typically more mechanical/digital sounding with prominent kicks and basslines, and the bpm range can reach higher than most forest. Forest may have a less prominent bassline, and the textures tend to sound more organic giving an eerie feeling as if being in a dark forest.
