This kinda falls in line with my match up. Another guess for that I have for the SH vs BB matchup is Sanji vs Avalo eventhough a lot of people seems to want him to fight against Sanjuan too. For me these two are easily made for a fight with one another. Both are linked to royalty and from north blue. Not to mention that Avalo also seems to be a modified human being based off the look of his arm.

Great video man, I hope this fight does happen, enjoyed the senor pink fight with the wrestling style of fighting being used by both individuals, with bergus’ fruit allows him to lift mountains, the two of them fighting would be epic, a battle ship merged with a cyborg and a cyborg with a devil fruit that allows him to pickup anyone and anything freely. I like how Oda designed franky to look like the rock when he first was shown, and a member of the BB pirates wears a luchador mask and has a feat of picking up a mountain, kinda is foreshadowed in a way

Oda wants to make a mecha series, and loves them. Some of the most famous mechas have different mechs combining into one. My theory has always been that the grand fleets ships will combine with the sunny to create a giant ship mecha. I love the idea of the klabauterman in blackbeards main ship, but perhaps the klabauterman in it would be so strong would be perhaps because this was the ship of the rocks pirates themselves. Blackbeard seems to have knowledge others dont. Okay, dialing back to the start of the video, I've been thinking on Franky's development... Following the repeat rule between Grand Line and New World, we're on Enies Lobby and MAYBE on Thriller Bark as well, since Frank's Role Model parallels with Chopper's Role Model. With that in mind I can't avoid pondering if Dr. Vegapunk will be a disappointment as much as Dr. Hogback was.

I think Franky fighting Burgess is an interesting idea. Burgess gets thrown around the most for potential match-ups (probably cus he is the only Blackbeard Pirate not named Blackbeard that we know anything about), but I always thought the prospect of him being the Sanji match-up didn't make sense. They don't really work well as a stylistic or personality based match-up, I think the only assumption was that Burgess was the third strongest, but with him getting hard stomped by Sabo I really don't think he is. I thought an interesting match-up for Burgess was Jinbe. Both of them are martial artists, but the key difference is that Burgess is a loud, egotistical bully and Jinbe is a humble and stoic master. Both fit archetypes of the combat sports they are based on, Jinbe is the stereotypical Karate master, being disaplined and humble, whereas Burgess is a Pro-Wrestler though and through, with the massive braggadocios attitude and over the top personality. I would be satisfied if Burgess fought either Franky or Jinbe as they seem like fun personality and style match-ups for both characters.

Thinking about the fights against the Blackbeard crew, which I do believe will be the final battle in the story for Luffy to "liberate" the world from Teach after he takes the empty throne, there are a lot of parallels in the characters just like there's parallels between Luffy and Teach himself. The ones I can think of for now: Chopper and Doc Q. Doc Q infects Chopper with the ultimate sickness, and in order to win Chopper has to create the ultimate cure, thereby fulfilling his dream of finding a medicine to cure any illness. Zoro and Shiryu. I believe Shiryu will awaken his df which will not just allow him to be invisible but also make no sound, have no presence, no physical indication to where he is or what he's doing whatsoever and be ethereal. So Zoro has to "cut nothingness" to beat him. The same thing his teacher told him way back, he said something like "the highest level of swordsmanship can even cut through nothingness" which Shiryu would then embody. Usopp vs Van Auger. I see the fight starting with Usopp taking a massive hail Mary shot with his ultimate weapon and missing completely. The shot goes flying off into the sky and Auger mocks him and they have a battle. Usopp has to scramble to survive and Auger just avoids and reads all his shots while teleporting. Auger corners Usopp and is about to finish him when the shot Usopp fired right at the start of the fight drops back down out of the air and hits Auger dead on. Usopp wins because he had such an absurd showing of observation haki that he fired a shot that hit a teleporting enemy thousands of moves later, thus making him the greatest sniper ever. Franky vs the huge guy. Mech vs Kaiju battle what more to say. You do have a very good point with Franky vs Burgess though. Perfect for man to man combat. Metal vs flesh. Nami vs Katarina. Battle of illusions and clones. Nami has to use all her creativity and ingenuity to win. Luffy vs Blackbeard. The liberator vs the tyrant. The sun vs the moon. The light vs the darkness. The myth who brings joy to all across the seas vs the myth that brings despair. Joyboy the god of smiles and laughter vs Davy Jones the devil of the sea. I don't know about the others like Sanji and Robin and Jimbei though. I'll have to think about that one a bit more.

I do think that was Odas subtle way of confirming to the fans the sunny is just as much a member of the crew that the merry was. Idk what it really could mean for the story, but there's way too little discussion on it, and I'd love to see the community's opinion lol. Would be cool to see a sentient Sunny saving the day somehow, similar to the merry.

I appreciate you! So he is, but both in the manga and in road to laughtale, they said "the gum gum fruit is an alternate name", not indicating which one is the true one. Per road to laughtale, the only thing with Luffy's fruit that is like a Zoan is the fact he changes to all white. Every other aspect to his powers - and the awakening - was what you'd expect from an awakened Rubber Paramecia fruit (aka the gum gum fruit), and Kaido even said the same thing. So its a toss up. I think we will come to find out Luffy's fruit has elements of all 3.

I like the Sunny idea. I was pondering the straw hat and blackbeard match ups and was wondering who would end up fighting San Juan Wolf. If Franky doesn't fight Jesus Burgess then I think it'll be Franky. But it he does I'm guess Sunny. Or the hypothetical giant Nakama they meet on Elbaf 🤔

Kinda dissapointed u just point out the obvious and didnt go into much depth. All im saying is right now (last week of void month) were about to have Franky, Vegapunk and Wapol travveling together (if Wapol follows Vivi). I wanna point the attention to Vegapunks Soul research, the Klabautermann and Wapols abillity to eat and seemingly upgrade anything. So to think of an extreme scenario: Franky and Sunny could feed half their soul to wapol to merge into a new even stronger (and maybe sentient) metal/wood to create the Sunny Shogun (or a better Pluton). Combine that with the theory that Franky will run on VPs Green Blood and you have an unstoppable force and inmovable object that will be the 4th ancient /1st modern Weapon, giving Franky the title of one of the biggest Inventors/Craftsman/etc. who ever lived.

The references for Jesus Christ in Jesus Burgess could also continue by him being the shipright, making it more likely for the sake of the gag. Jesus was an excellent craftsman, good with his hands. Burgess can only make/upkeep a log raft which in itself would be impressive to us but compared to Franky it’s pretty damn terrible

Wapol metal is far stronger than adam wood so including adam wood as a weapon or in a battle mech would just be chosing to build weaknesses into it. Big mom broke parts of the sunny accidentally compared to not even being able to dent the bracho tank. I don't think any of the blackbeard pirates that basically just got the devil fruits are gonna have time to awaken before they meet the straw hats. Most every fruit user on Blackbeard's crew got their powers within the last year even if it has been much longer for us. Every one we have seen awaken has had a deep understanding of their fruit born from years to an entire lifetime of experience before they were able to awaken. I get they are the big final bad guys but having them break established rules just so they could pose a threat is awful writing and Oda is not an awful writer.

My prediction is that Franky will gain the ability to use devil fruit powers temporarily utilizing Dr vegapunk's "green blood" in the same way the seraphim do. While traveling with the crew, (back to wano to hide in luffy's territory and cure ebisu town) vegapunk will make green blood from chopper's devil fruit. In the final battle Franky will use choppers human human green blood in the sunny and it will transform into a human ship and fight.

Personally, I feel like it is a possibility for Franky to BECOME the sunny after his body sustains big damage on Egghead. Franky has been becoming more and more robotic ever since the sea train, and a part of his character is that he is human despite the metal. There is a lot more circumstantial evidence for this, like Franky having the whale on his head in Zou, Oda's bad future drawings, and a few other throwaway examples.
