Ingredients :
For Dal :
1 bowl tuvar dal ( तूर दाल )
1 medium onion, chopped ( प्याज )
3-4 clove garlic, paste ( लहसुन का पेस्ट )
2 green chilli paste ( हरी मिर्च का पेस्ट )
1 medium sized tomato ,chopped ( टमाटर )
1 teaspoon cumin seeds ( जीरा )
1 teaspoon coriander powder ( धनिया पाउडर )
1/2 teaspoon turmeric ( हल्दी )
2 teaspoon red chili powder ( लाल मिर्च )
Salt, to taste ( स्वाद अनुसार नमक )
1 pinch garam masala ( गरम मसाला )
2 glass water ( पानी )
2 tbsp ghee, for frying ( घी )
For dhokli :
1 bowl wheat flour ( आटा )
2 tbsp gram flour ( बेसन )
1 tbsp coriander seeds ( मोटा धनिया )
1/2 teaspoon ajwain ( अजवाइन )
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds ( जीरा )
1 spoon oil ( तेल )
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder ( हल्दी )
1 pinch baking soda ( मीठा सोडा )
salt to taste ( स्वाद अनुसार नमक )
water ( पानी )
