Yeah, I don't think they should have forced the quick proposal like that. It seems like he was pushed into it, not like it was what he really wanted. Even the proposal on the normal timeline of The Bachelorette would happen after a couple of months, not after a couple of weeks. I hope he really does want to marry her rather than just being there for his 15 minutes of fame, knowing that engagements on this show usually end up breaking up anyway. I do think that he genuinely has feelings for her, but I also feel like he was pushed into this.

Yes, it has only been a short time, but my brother-in-law and sister-in-law knew each other for not much more than a month when they got married. They've now been married for over 40 years and seem to be pretty happy to me. Also, my "second" set of parents (they became like parents to me when I was about 14) were married for about 65 years, until she passed. She was 16 and he was 20 when they married, and had only known each other for less than 6 months.. They were very happy. I lived with them on several different occasions, and they treated each other very kindly. I hope it works for Clare and Dale. Everyone deserves happiness. Let's give them a chance.........

I’ll be the first to admit. This was fast. They hardly know each other. Their connection has been mostly physical and emotional. It’s understandable why people would question the sincerity of it. However, I personally believe they are both sincere in their feelings. Clare’s been through it enough that she knows what she wants.
