We've been raising cattle and wheat out here ( near Abilene) for well over 100 years. People moving in, in droves. Ole Dad had a cow get thru the fence, just into our new neighbors'. Pool that has held water, even thru the bad droughts. Ole girl was up to her ears in green grass and looked like a black Volkswagen. Smilin'! Ole dad went to get her and the California lady came down wearing the Gucci, anti-rattlesnake flip-flops and shorts. She was almost crying when she said, " I was so worried,,,she doesn't have anything to eat!"😢 Fill in the blank on what 78 year Ole Dad's thoughts were!🤔
