Dale, I stumbled upon your channel and have been watching all of your videos for the past couple of weeks now (yes, I clicked like on all of them, and yes I binged watching Lonesome Dove for 6 hours, yes it was a great movie), I'm in NY but a farmer at heart. I was born and raised on my family's working farm back in the old country of Portugal, I miss being around the cows and horses. yes, it is a long and hard day's work. Dale, you, your crew, your work, and crazy antics are the best !!! Also, I think people who ask how many cows you have genuinely aren’t trying to be rude. I live in Wisconsin and everyone talks about how many cows or acres they have, sometimes even advertise it. Those are dairy cows but it’s interesting to see how things are different between regions and good to get that information for the future

Electricians have to work 4+ years just to test for journeyman and then many more years before they can test for their Masters. Electrician position is never a fall back position.

Yeahhhhhh but they’re getting paid for the 4 years. That’s the difference. Sure you don’t make as much but you have an income. When you go to college for 4 years, YOU PAY them. And after that 4 years a LOT of college graduates don’t make as much as a journeyman electrician. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I’m just sayin some people who aren’t made for school shouldn’t go $180k in debt for a paper they’re not gonna use.

Hey we have a county fair where you can raise one steer that you have to halter break and show for a week and then sale. You keep records and all that Jazz buttttt it’s nonsense in my opinion. The commercial steers that you where talking about is a way better opportunity in my opinion for a more real life situation. Really hit home with your opinion on show cattle. Spot on my friend.
