Great information and technique Dale and Craig. I'm a bit older and remember, sadly, when horses were forced to do what the person wanted. So happy things have changed and show better results when you are patient and actually befriend and teach your horse instead of breaking their spirit. Much, much better now. Thanks again for showing the right way.

So informative! I thank Mr. Cameron from the bottom of my heart! Mr. Brisby, you are hilarious, but it is so wonderful to see your channel put forward great training methods and tips. Further, it is really important that you are prescient/brilliant enough to know that what you do with great men like Mr. Cameron will help a lot of people. I really appreciate this!!!

Was trying to load a quarter horse mare named BB into a trailer one time. She was really trailer shy. Huge ranch foreman came and shoved his shoulder under her back end and wheel barrow walked her into the trailer. Don't think I'd want to try that method, but it worked for him. Of course, he was almost as big as the horse, so....

My son even wants to get into rodeo now and I've been looking into it for a while and I've done farm and ranch work for my buddy's grandpa and one day we got bored and they bet me a sleeve of grizzly wintergreen I wouldn't jump on his bulls back and try and ride it with no rope and so I did... That is an anxiety thing or a learned habit from always being anxious while loading in the past. It's kind of a running joke for the horse to make a mess in the trailer before you are out of park. Maybe you were making a joke, but for the sake of people who don't know, I just wanted to say something.
