Dalek - The New Age - Full Film

After releasing The New Age in episodes I've decided to also put out a version with all three episodes edited together as one film. The reception for the series has been beyond what I ever imagined and I'm so incredibly grateful to everyone who supported this project. You guys are the best and I can't wait to see what the future holds...

There are many positive compliments I could give but since others have already said them I will give my biggest criticism instead - I know it's extra work for people who are probably not even getting paid but subtitles would be a good idea if there's going to be a lot of Daleks speaking. I'm a native English speaker and a few things were a bit tricky for even me to make out. I imagine anyone for whom English isn't there first language will have quite the struggle understanding.

Just one major question. How are the Daleks able to enter the atmosphere of Gallifrey and operate with impunity? This is the beginning of the Time War. Gallifrey's defences held until the very end. I saw no attacks on the Dalek ships.

Honestly I’m not that well educated on the Doctor Who expanded universe and this film was just made for fun. You’ve got a good point and honestly I don’t have an answer. Quite simply I don’t think exploring how the Daleks got to the city is that interesting or relevant to the story so I just didn’t include it.

@@EvolutionProductions1200 it’s not an “expanded universe”. It’s on the show as on-screen canon. It’s been spoken about since the Classic Show. It’s been a part of the new show. The Daleks couldn’t have entered The atmosphere of Gallifrey this early into the war. I understand “fun” but at what cost? Just throwing away canon and established continuity?

Plus let's be fair Doctor Who breaks the rules of it's own canon all the time so does this minor problem seriously ruin the film for you or is it just a small inconsistency that honestly doesn't really affect the quality of the film.

They left Skaro off-screen somewhere between "Daleks" and "The Dalek Invasion of Earth". It seems heavily implied that it was meeting the Doctor that gave the Daleks the impetus to become space-faring.

I did a ChatGPT run analysis of a Dalek vs Borg battle. ChatGPT seemed to feel that the Daleks would not be able to outperform the speed the Borg could adapt. But it was also adamant that a Dalek could not be assimilated properly into the Borg Collective. So it had the Daleks withdrawing but the Borg learning nothing new of military importance.

It was implied (and may be expanded upon in the Big Finish Audios) that the Renegade Dalek faction collapsed with the death of their Supreme during the events of Remembrance.

The Mutants inside Imperial Daleks are basically apart of their casing, they can't leave it anyhow unlike Time War Daleks

Imperial Daleks cannot leave their casings because they're basically apart of it

it must be understood that the ONLY differences are the casings. So. when a NEW casing is developed, ALL daleks will be tranfered to their NEW casings. There IS NO difference to mutants

The Imperial Dalek mutants were actually heavily modified by Davros. It was one of the sticking points that started the Imperial vs Renegade Civil War. It wouldn't be incorrect to create a story where the Resurrection Emperor decided to return to a more "pure" mutant form.
