England has a sour taste in Egyptians and other Arabs because of its 100+ years of occupation. But in the last 40 decades, things started to be a lot more smooth in the Arab relationship with the English people. Many Arabs like Scotland, and one of the reasons is the movie "Braveheart", which showed the scottish fight of independence under the leadership of "William Wallace" against the English Kingdom.

Binging on Egypt travel vlogs and i just came here from Luke Damant's Egypt vlog with the shoe cleaner guy. I don't think it's fair of them to blame him for how his daughter's friends reacted. That is the one thing all of us need to learn is the dignity of labour. I can understand it must have been embarassing for the daughter but her father is an honest man making honest money , she should be proud he put her through University by working hard. Anyways love for both you and Luke. 💕

Honestly she could be proud of her father but still hearing anyone talking about your parents in a condescending way would sadden anyone. Also, it must have been tough for the father to know that he somehow caused his daughter to be sad no matter how proud he is of his work. So it's understandable that he'd wish he'd never been in the video...

Sadly this is Egypt now. No laws really matter, religion is fading away.. and so is common decency and manners. It only takes a few junkies who mostly see white women just on p**n websites to ruin your experience. My advice? If someone does this to you ever again, punch them in the throat. It doesn't matter where you are. To whoever plans on visiting Egypt, have one man or more with you. Move in groups. And try to avoid the more crowded areas where most locals are altogether. Just stay in the tourist areas.

Laban is milk only in Egypt. The rest of the Arab world call yoghurt "Laban". Haleeeeeb is milk everywhere. but in egypt they like to call it laban. It was also confusing for me as well as an arab first time in Egypt.

Hassan Not really. In South Yemen in the port city of Aden, Laban means Milk. So you are wrong.
@Ghareebz2 жыл бұрын
yeah and it's called laban in the quran < and that's the most important
@Aemond-qj4xt2 жыл бұрын
bro milk is laban we call it correctly. yogurt is zabady its not our fault the rest of the arab world has them confused
@hassanshka67112 жыл бұрын
@@Aemond-qj4xt bro thats not true if that was the case the Company Juhayna would have said it is laban (full fat) instead they call it haleeeb (milk) Full fat. Juhayna is one of the biggest companies in the Arab world and known for their Dairy products. So your argument reflects only the Egyptian Dialect only even the Business sector and the marketing they call it Haleeeb (Milk) in Egypt. Because they don't care about this confusion and they stick with the majority of arabs.

Yesss! i got so happy when I saw those Portuguese people!!! VIVA PORTUGAL!!!🇵🇹 Dale u really need to visit the Portugal Azores Islands!! The island Sao Miguel is absolutely STUNNING so beautiful!! Active volcanos, hot springs, green mountains, ocean everywhere. But the best most fun time to go is at the End of August when they have the Feasts! It's seriously an amazing experience! The Red Bull divers go there bc it has amazing places to dive into the ocean.

My favorite is the guy with the drums. Its the greatest noise ever. At 28:33 I was sad because I thought he finished but at 28:55 I was rejoiced to hear that beautiful sound once more.

I like the summary at the end, dale. also I notice you're saying the converted prices (for almost everything), that's also great! I didn't see how much the tip was to the small boy, that's something I usually am curious about. overall a good video though.

The restaurant with English menu, English prices were between 25% and 50% higher. For example falafel in Arabic was 25LE and English 50LE. Also the falafel shop with the kid definitely ripped you off. Usually street falafel costs 5LE and they charged you 15 and 30. Still cheap as dirt even compared to middle class area of Cairo.
@ahmedkamalhasin20702 жыл бұрын
They did offer him 5LE however if he look it without the bread and other add-ons.
