I would say generally that the cis have good tanks, what they don't have are dedicated tank destroyers, and that was there weakness, since the republic favoured overwhelming fire power which requires tank destroyers. The tank droids were mainly for skirmishes with infantry, and although the dwarf spider had a knack for hitting weak points and exposed joints, they were far more starfighter focused

@@tk-6967 The seppies did use them this made republic lose and also Anhilators and advanced were used a lot but some of the advanced spiders got destroyed by Delta squad. Anhilators also had there weakness but were rarely destroyed and super powerful one of them turned a tide of battle and killed more than 1000 Clones and destoryed dozens of vehicles and wasnt destroyed

What the actual fuck. The devs decided to nerf the super tank, which in lore is said to be able to take any sort of munition at the time, but yet they still are yet to change the fact that ATTEs are ridiculously op?!?! I will admit that ATTEs were good walkers, ok, but they weren't that good, we literally see in the clone wars show that they are easily blown up by falling rocks and stuff, which is really dumb considering they were supposed to be able to climb cliffs!

Tbh a lot of the tank designs are stupid in a realistic sense (I love them aestheticly however), so the atte being able to be defeated easily is a “by plot” thing.

I was hoping the devs had sorted the seps entirely, but maybe in the next update give their tanks some love? They may be able to pull more weight, but you have weakened the super tank, which already was less deadly then some of the *rebel alliance tanks*, which by the way, aren't very numerous, and weren't all that impressive either in lore. The separatists had much better tanks in the war than the republic, the TX-130 was *not* commonly featured, hell it has yet to make an appearance in a film or tv show. The ATXT was good, but the X signifies it's experimental nature, and it was only used in the first half of the war, serving as kind of escorts to the incredibly slow ATTEs or support units to the monstrous ATAT prototypes, which seemed to have stilts for legs and a horrible box design rather than lean dog legs and a more streamlined design in Episode 5.

If you did that again WITHOUT the recon units, expect different results. Almost all of the first volley of artillery from the droids is wasted.

Well, recon units are also considered light tanks so I don’t really know what you’re trying to say here.

@@2ndcomingofFritz If you don't mind I will explain. The AI is set to fire at the closest units, once they get within range, not the large or grouped units. Meaning that the first volley is wasted on units that are sparce and spread out. For the robots, that rely heavily on barrage tactics, this is a flaw. Meaning that they will waste their first, and possibly only, shots and you can see the result in the video.
