Thanks for trying my mod! Thanks for pointing out that the ranged units need balancing especially the landsknechte (the musketeers as you described them). The archers indeed have an unfair advantage over the landsknechte who also suffer in the face of melee units because of limited range. There are other factors to consider but range is definitely an important one. I will update the mod when I can.

It's actually historically quite authentic. Muskets were wildly inaccurate compared to arrow fire and were usually fired at a comparatively short distance for maximum impact. Especially longbow had an effective range of over 100 meters while muskets were usually fired at 50 meters. So if you don't want to adjust the range, you can use this as justification. If anybody asks why people started using muskets if they could be outranged by bowmen, the answer is training to fire a musket takes months while training to fire a bow takes years.

Yes, thank you. This proves my point. We try to make old things new and new things look old. Let me explain: we and Lego tire to make figures more detailed and (realistic or something) and then games (mostly mods) try to make units look old ( like this mod with classic Lego knights). It's a phenomena I can't explain and no one seems to understand me.

Im no coder or tactician so take what I say probably with grains of salt. But the finale battle showed what might be a advantage that the Lego musketeer's have that is a lower ground advantage. When the body's began piling in front of them and they as a large formation sat beneath it with major support behind them, almost all of the Black Knights of charge over are shot before they fully reach one musketeer, as a horde group on a flat terrain at the beginning of the finale battle it was only a time situation to when that formation fell. So in summary it seems at least what I see with just with the Lego musketeer's is go give them low ground they can shoot at anyone who goes over the edge, and to give them support (The first musketeer line was) to kill enough of the attackers to not slowly diminish the numbers of those on the lower ground to the point they can start overwhelming them.

The little soldiers aren't actually weak like he claimed, they actually bad asses. If you put an even amount of Lego Knights and Lego Halberds Vs and even amount of footman and Heavy Knights, the Lego team would easily win by a large margin every time if on open ground with both teams attacking.
