Hi, I have this system since yesterday Oberon 7C and Sound Hub Component. Unfortunately im not able to pair the hub device with both columns. I’m trying my best together with the instruction attached to it but it DOES NOT WORK. I do everything according to the manual instructions and the instructions you are giving on this video. Why it doesn’t work? It supposed to be nice and easy, plug n play but it’s been a horror as I’m not able to use it… can you give me some advice what have to be done in this case? You only show easy way but there is no support for those that it doesn’t work. Moreover there is no service line I could call or write in. Shame

What happens long term with the sound hubs if they stop working or if you lost the remote. Will there be backwards compatibility for the wireless speakers

Sorry didn’t finish my thought, since there are no inputs on the speakers to use conventional dacs or streamers I believe. Also how are the bookshelf speakers in a nearfield environment at low volume?

Hi Dali would the c wireless give u more power than by just using d non wireless version which u would have to add an amplifier or receiver thanks

The advantage of an active hi-fi speaker is that the speaker is optimised/tuned to perform at its full potential with the integrated amp. On top, a closed system like this also has full control of the entire signal path - from source to speaker - which means there is no unknown factor to worry about. With analogue speakers you never know which amp will be connected, so the speakers has to perform all-around with all amps. This means you might not untap the full potential of the speakers - depending on your amp. On the other hand, you are able to adjust the sound signature of analogue speakers with your choice of amp (warm, neutral, in-between).

Thanks Dennis vest do u work at Dali so Dali sound is warm or neutral sounding I'm thinking about using a Yamaha rx a780 receiver I'm not sure if to go with oberon 1 vs 3 or 5

I don't understand why audiophile setups are very expensive in today's world (music is exclusive but it is for everyone) .. And many people drop decision buying such setups.. May be someday possible..

does the oberon 1 c sound the same as the regular oberon 1?

Its tuned a bit different, because of the built in amplifier. It is supricing how much volume this speaker can deliver.

Hi. There is no firmware update for the KATCH G2. But the firmware upgrade tool for OBERON C (and RUBICON C) can be found here: www.dali-speakers.com/en/products/oberon-c/oberon-7-c#downloads

Hi Dali, I don't understand what's the point of it being wireless if the speakers need individual wire to power them which probably makes it less convenient to move it everywhere like you claim to me wireless sounds like a scam because you still need to power them up with janky visible wires.

Unfortunately, wireless power is still a thing of the future. But in many Western homes, there is a power plug in almost every corner of the living room. Here you avoid to run speaker cables across the living room space. Instead you plug your active speaker into the power plug in the corner. We are aware that this is not for everybody, which is why our main focus is still on passive speakers with good old-fashioned speaker cables! :)
