Excellent episode, good to see Mr. Dalip Tahil in this new light - had no idea. Only ever knew him as this or that heroine’s dad in bollywood . Hope you bring him back, could listen to his stories for hours.

When I was in school, he was one of the reasons I wanted to become an actor. His articulation, his voice modulation, his acting was top class. A very select audience has witnessed his theatre expertise. I hope he gets more exposure. Keep the good work going Dalip👏

Loved it. Brilliant episode Cyrus. Dalip is damn good actor and I didn't know he had a such a good voice. And who can forget the iconic Madan Chopra. We want Part 2.

Some names mentioned in this podcast eluded my familiarity, though a few rang a bell-Sharon Prabhakar, Alyque Padamsee, Victor Banerjee, Amal Allana, and others. Despite this, the conversation was utterly delightful. I was completely hooked, as always, being a fan of Dilip Tahil. His impeccable command of the English language and that resonant voice are a rarity these days.

Having seen so much of Cyrus and what he gets upto...even with his guests....I've become used to him over the years....both the good and the meh... This one was new...I've never seen Cyrus insecure before...more like, at times, he was desperate to show he belonged....to the same class of actor that Dalip Tahil was...like he was a version of him, but in a more modern era.... Dalip Tahil was a lovely guest, a wonderfully cultured man and a fountainhead of theatre nostalgia... But on the whole, this episode left me with a strange feeling...

I was going to unsubscribe to this channel after the last few tepid interviews (sorry, but I don’t have a nicer way to say that)…. But Dalip bought back the energy, the mood, the nostalgia and everything that makes Cyrus Says such a joyous podcast! He also had Cyrus on his toes and on the back foot often… a rare feat indeed! 😅 Wonderful episode. Dalip is such a gripping storyteller!

Wonderful podcast.Mr.Dalip Tahil came across as an articulate, charming and well versed man.The only sore point was the host repeatedly interrupting in between trying very hard to crack a joke every few minutes which kind of broke the rhythm of the conversation. All in all a very interesting session!

So much lost potential with Cyrus....he knows the skang, great sense if humour, quick witted, speaks two languages fluently, the right age to ibteract with kids abd elders, etc, etc. Unfortunately that nin-stop motor mouth has sabotaged him more than any billionaire, evil genius gunning for him can. 😂 Great stuff Broad Man, keep at it and keep it up!!! 😊

I am familiar with Hindi and Marathi theater in Maharashtra but always wondered about English Theater.. I mean the =actors won;t look European will have some pretend ascent .. how would all that look authentic.. I know I know people are going to say it is about acting etc but somehow can't see enjoying it ( no matter how good the production is)
