Dallas Cowboys fan 1980 I have a hard time listening to the other youtubers because think they know everything and like you said they always breaking down film sections which it don't impress me and never have. This is the reason why a lot of people don't never take the Cowboys seriously because they know the Cowboys is nothing but a fraud and front runners. This level of consistency tells me it HAS to be on the coaching staff. Whether it's McCarthy himself or the coordinators under him, SOMEONE is not drilling the Cowboys effectively enough on basic fundamentals of discipline. I'm also hesitant to say it's Dan Quinn, too, because despite his defense pulling holding calls at the worst possible times like clockwork, Quinn's Falcons were never an _undisciplined_ team, just one with a voodoo curse and a serious killer instinct deficiency. This is a problem the Cowboys have, honestly, had for even longer than McCarthy's tenure -- Dallas has a reputation for drafting and acquiring players without giving a damn about potential "character issues", so at the root it might well just be a Jerry Jones culture problem. In which case, welp, that shit ain't getting fixed. But even if that's the root, McCarthy doesn't seem to be able or interested in exerting enough forceful influence to get the team to exert basic self-control, and it's cost them BRUTALLY in recent years. (It also might be "not able", for the record -- I'm no Mike McCarthy fan whatsoever, but Jerry Jones has absolute power in that organization so if the culture problems really are stemming from him, I don't think ANYONE in that org would be able to offset them, because nobody would truly be able to stand up to Jones in that aspect.)
