honestly, what all happened to this kid this season coupled with his mentality, his play, his poise, outlook, his everything...he seems very close to the perfect person, and movie should most definitely be made about him. Hats off dereck!!!

exactly! you wouldn't think anything is wrong with him the way he carries himself, so calm and composed. this man's been through his nba rookie year, the loss of his mother, having to play through that in the playoffs and end of reg season, and now he's here in the WCF. A movie should definitely be made of him.

Dereck is such a great interview. He's thoughtful. He's respectful. I can believe that, even at the age of 20, after being what he's been through, he's more mature than other players years older, but he still has much to learn, and he understands that too. A quality guy.

Yes and No, It was designed to play by Jason Kid, You can't just make your own play after time out less than 20 seconds in the game. But if McDaniels and Rudy didn't take the bait then it was the player to adjust.

Helluva kid, a beast from the jump. And he's starting his career. I think next year he'll be shooting 3's maybe jump shots, dribble on the post, shooting his "baby hooks" 😅 the ones he like. So much Data they can load on that machine. IDK maybe I'm just a believer
