Sometimes his teammates hog the ball too much, specially Dinwiddie. He's just starting to warm up if they pass him the ball, he might erupted into a 30+ PTS game and 7 threes.

Spencer Dinwiddie is the engine of these Mavs. Attacking and scoring, ending the first half with a bang. Then drawing defenders driving and dishing. Naji's only perimeter shot was thanks to Dinwiddie's driving and kick out. Then three straight assists to Hardy, others. And he is crafty as he can get to the FT line as good as anybody. When he is given the ball in his hands, he creates not only for himself, but others. When Spence is attacking, it opens it up for everyone. They need to keep Dinwiddie for years!
@deeburns122715 күн бұрын

Most fans are not objective and instead have a very short memory. Watch Dinwiddie play when his usage is anywhere near his 2022-2023 stint and he is very dynamic drawing fouls, hitting tough shots and driving hard to get his teammates wide open/clean looks. That's impact. Maybe Mavs fans and podcast voices don't like his name or something, who knows. He's a smart baller. Hope the front office extends him for years (as they did for Dorian Finney Smith and Maxi twice, heck even gave Dirk's dollars to fricking chandler parsons who didn't made an impact nor did he ever average 17ppg nor elevated teammates)

@titustsou895315 күн бұрын
Hi, Mavs fan from Taiwan, congrats to Mavs and we shows how tough we could be. Everyone shows their talent and win this match. Here is the opinions to share: 🏀Defense: 1. The POCKET DEFENSE is successfully used, you will see that when Lively and Kleber root in paint, how difficult that AD and James score in the paint. 2. The SWITCH DEFENSE also doing great, even James & AD play P&R, the timing of double team to James is properly and AD also cannot close to rim , the double team to AD also doing great. 3. Although Lively still have some play was be switched out far from the rim, and also have foul trouble, but he did great job to cover big defense range, I think if he could be better when he gained more experience. 4. Kleber did great job on double team to AD and James, he root in paint area and always check up when AD or James drives and help the defense. 🏀Offense 1. Nice team basketball with Mavs style, you can see the difference P&R and screens, and most importantly that we play ISO more efficiently. The miss match opportunity like PJ against Reaves and Grimes against AD. 2. Both Lively and Kleber did high quality screen for teammates, especially Kleber, he did seal screen for dribblers, and if you watch the game in detail, Hardy party was open with Kleber’s screen, fake cut and screen for Hardy to make open 3PTS, especially he saw that Lakers play zone defense he cut from the middle of two defenders then break to do the screen. 3. Lively on pinch post to the do high quality screen and he can pass well, and when miss match happens, he try to score without hesitation. He also did great job in offense side. 4. Glad to see that P&R and cut back door that Grimes, Klay and Hardy cut in and scored. 5. Not only #1 #5 do the P&R, the P&R with different combinations and here also have many off ball screen like Naji, Klay and Kleber, they create more space that everyone can pass safer and find the open opportunities. 6. Here also have many inside-out play, especially Dinwiddie and Grimes, they both handle ball well, cut in and pass out to find the open teammates. 7. Only one thing that we need to notice in this game is when we doing one times inside-out or P&R, even get offense rebounds, sometimes we can play more patient then reorganize, seeking for good shots opportunities. 🏀I think it is meaningful win to us, especially with system adjustments we could see that we can also play well. Even Luka and Kyrie need to rest, but if we build up the system like this, when Luka and Kyrie back, they don’t need to spend more time to fit in, because we still playing P&R but just let players run the cut and do more off ball screen, and defense is same system. Hope that Luka, Kyrie, Gafford and Exum get enough rest and totally recover from injury, everyone stay healthy and go further. Let’s go Mavs💪💪🙏🙏

When you watch every game( or the highlights of a team) you realize how little the top broadcasters know about teams. I used to always notice it with the raptors, but it feels obvious they don’t watch film. The nfl broadcasters, especially the ex player, feels like they know everything about the league and watch all the film.

When i played, even street ball growing up, we always called guys out for flailing flying elbows. Now its like the only way guys can get clear for a shot is to hit the defender with an elbow. We also didnt always have a hand on the person with the ball as a means to increase our defensive result. The game was played with a high level of effort to never make contact with the opponent, but only contact the ball.

LeBron really, really, hustles on D. Closing out on shooters. Boxing out. Helping out on D. He works so hard. This video shows it that he hasn't lost a thing. Sometimes he gets caught during play complaining about his teammates while his man cuts backdoor for a dunk, but other than that he is incredible.

Sarcasm to the finest. He is not playing any defense anymore and it's kind of ridiculous how only he can get away with this. This highlight video has like 3 errors on help defense he is purely responsible off and he just raises his hands like it's someone else false fault.
