Super work. The music was appropriate and at a good volume. Nice graphics. I was born here and remember when most of that was pastures. Thanks for doing us proud.

Many people don't know that DNT was built where a Railroad once was, between 35 and Alpha Road. They just took out the tracks and widened the right of way. That explains way that section seems more compact because the houses were there and they took out some, but few as possible.

It's insane how different this route is today - at 2:00 there are towers lining the right side instead of the fields that are in the video which make it such a cool place to drive through, also the bottleneck issue and 4 lane projects you mentioned are now completed... All in just 3 years, haha that's crazy

Very nice video, a lot of stuff to see there. The DNT has a lot of different faces, from the wide suburban expanse north of 121, to the high-rise corridor in Addison and the narrow railroad alignment into Dallas.

Yep, it definitely is an interesting ride due to its dynamic nature. I also lime how its design allows it to seem much busier than it is (I think about 120k and tops? That's still busy, just not as much as it looks.) It makes for an exhilarating experience :)

Lol, I actually did that on purpose, I'm surprised you caught on! I learned to check my keyframes more carefully after my first video, haha. I'm glad the song fit!

Pretty interesting urban road...FANTASTIC work on the signs; kind of like the glow effect you surrounded each one with. By the way, did I ever use that song in a video from a long time ago? It's on my playlist, but I can't even remember if I ever used this, LOL. Anyway, great work on the video.

Thank you! I do feel like I'm finding my forte with the signs, switched over to Inkscape as my main sign maker a couple videos ago. You probably did use this song, I actually found it on Kyle's I-405 video of Portland. I searched around for similar songs, just for a little variety, but I'm this fit best.

Nice job and this video show that the 1989 to 2012 sections have a concrete pavement unlike the 1968 section. To me this is the Texas version of highway 407 in Toronto Ontario since both have electronic toll collections
@InterstateJD10 жыл бұрын
The 1968 section was concrete as well until 2002, when the road was resurfaced with asphalt. Apparently it was in pretty bang up shape. The ETC is probably the only thing the DNT has in common with the 407 though, as their designs and environments (but I'm just going off of Brent's video, so I could be wrong ) are completely different. If anything TX-121 Sam Rayburn Tollway is most like 407: generally straight and flat with ETC. Instead of lanes though, SRT boasts something else... Big stacks! Nevertheless, I appreciate your comment and I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks

To Be Honest, Toll Roads Like This Are Better Than Interstate Freeways! Because Interstate Freeways Are Kind Of Boring In My Opinion (Except For US75 From I-30 In Downtown To Legacy Drive In Plano And I-35E From Post Oaks Drive On Corinth To US67 In Oak Cliff!)

Original part of toll road was supposed to be free after 2005. How about the motorists using the new sections pay tolls and let the original part be free.
