@@MrCraigblaze Katherine never really cared much for her half brother or sister. She didn’t like Cliff from the moment Rebecca made him in charge of Wentworth Tool & Die, and with Pam she just really wanted Bobby and more so when she saw how Pam was so quick to leave Bobby after Becky died.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Brittney several years ago when i was in California and shes NOTHING like Katherine Wentworth. She stopped to pose for photos and signed auto graphs for fans at a mall i was at. I have her autograph. A sweet ad patient and kind human being.

So much wasted potential for these two... The way I saw it, this scene could have led up to JR and Katherine having a real relationship and eventually getting married to each other. The time was right, since JR was still in his first divorce. Just imagine...both sets of the good and bad siblings from the opposing families (Pam and Bobby, JR and Katherine) married to each and living at Southfork together. Katherine had more in common with JR than all of his other relationships put together. It would have been a lot more entertaining to me to see them scheming away and destroying everyone together (and enjoying some hot victory sex afterwards) than to watch just more years of boring JR and Sue Ellen fights and break-ups.

Oh there are two side of the story when it comes to 1980's. I was 11 years old when Reagan took office. My family was considered to be rich before the 1980's. I can't say that I felt very rich during the 1980's. We farmed and had oil wells on the property that we owned. Our situation was the farming wasn't making a good profit, then the price of oil went way down in the 1980's. There was also the stock market crash of 1987. That situation caused problems for the first company I worked for. The company closed its doors in 1990. The only good thing about the 1980's was inflation was low, although that is not always a sign of a good economy. Reaganomics had its booms, although not so much in the Midwest. Reagan may have been the lesser evil to vote for in the 1980's. Although he is part of the reason we have a $22 trillion national debt today. We are not "winning" with that amount of debt.

Rebecca helped her husband build Wentworth Industries, IMO She wasn't wrong when she lefted 2/3 of the Wentworth Empire Pam & Cliff. Katherine showed no interest in the company anyway.

1. According to Rebecca's back story Herbert was traveling salesman, when they first met and later got married. She worked as his secretary, while helping him build Wentworth Industries. 2. Walking out on her children? I agree that was foul. 3. Why do say Bobby's money? LOL I'm quite sure they had a joint banking account. 4. Leaving 2/3 of Wentworth to Pam & Cliff was her way of making it up to them for abandoning them. BTW why didn't Herbert leave Katherine the company in his will?

Rebecca was not stupid. If Herbert had known about Digger, he would not have married her. Rebecca did not seek out Pamela until after Herbert died.

Herbert presumably never knew that Rebecca had other children. He assumed that Rebecca would leave the company to Katherine, the only child he believed she had. Actually, Rebecca said she never divorced Digger, which would make her marriage to Herbert invalid. Katherine may have been able to contest her mother’s right to inherit because the marriage was fraudulent.

She didn't think Cliff deserved 2/3 of the Wentworth Empire due to the fact that he was weak, that's why she resented him. She took to Pam real quick and Pam owning 2/3 of the company wasn't an issue to Katherine. The only downside to their relationship was that Katherine wanted Bobby. LOLI don't understand Katherine, she could have her pick of most of the wealthest bachelors in Texas, but no t your sister's husband.
