This song brings me to tears every time I hear it... My daughter was a still born, I think about her everyday. What she would look like, if she would have looked like her mother or me. I want to run away, go off an venture out. Her name is Adelina and she will forever be in my heart and never forgotten...

At first i didnt fully get this song. After hearing it a few times. And just reading the comments. I start to understand the true beauty of music. It affects everyone differently. Some have memories of pain. Where others have memories of amazing people who have changed their lives for the better and their memory carrying on through the music. To everyone reading this. Youre not alone. We as people should be there for one and other. And its the power of music that binds us as ive seen it do in this video.

SHadowHunter691 Music is a common language, regardless of what language lyrics are written in. It is our unique way of connecting with a song that makes the song special. Dallas Smith is an amazing talent. I've been a fan since the first Default album.

moral of it, dont judge a book by its cover and someone is always fighting some sort of battle. i cried alil. i love Dallas, all his songs are amazing.

It's amazing to me. In a world full of sadness, pain, separation, riots, and shaming... an internet community (youtube) can be a supportive outlet. I'm reading these comments and am brought to tears by the loss and the kind words of strangers in an attempt to uplift spirits. This song, video, and page has definitely pulled on my feel strings and brought some restored faith in humanity. Remember to be kind to one another.... we all bleed red.

My 6 year old sister got cancer when she was 2 years and 10 months old, Gordon king i respect the fact that you care about that my little sister is now in remission and now 6 years old, such a sad song that makes me remember when i first found out about her having cancer i am now ten and am done dealing with people bulling me about missing school so much about my little sister having cancer and then i told people how it is and i had a friend start helping me through it all and then another friend came along and to this point i am now in fifth grade and doing good with the 2 friends i had before still friends with me, i am doing a lot better now i love my little sister, she is one of the best parts of my life, her name is Lyanna Flynn on KZbin her fav song is " that's my kind of night" by Luke Bryan.

Before I realized what the song was about, All that was going through my head was why would you pick up a giant man in the desert wearing a trenchcoat and a wrestling mask???? Then it all made sense. Well done Dallas, very touching.

A big thank you to all my fans! What will my name and career be without all of your love and support? Amidst my darkest days you all stood by me, I don't have all the time in the world to reply, but i do read your heartwarming comments and i truly appreciate all. It's the season of love & so i decided to put smiles on the faces of my fans by going through old posts on my official page and hitting up random fans, So i can get to relate with my fans better through discussions of depth and humour, listening to compliments and criticisms on career walk.💕

In a cloud of dust, I picked you up off your front porch My old truck was lifted That summer dress messing with my head Caught the wind just a little bit and lifted And it sure felt good (it sure felt good) You were holding my hand (you were holding my hand) Looking out over that hood (looking out over that hood) Singing John Mellencamp And we were high on nothing but living and loving Running down something called a dirt road dream Our own little world, one boy, one girl Seventeen and riding that sweet southern breeze Lifted, like a song from a choir Lifted, like a flame from a raging fire Lifted First kiss out under the stars I've kissed before but that ol' bar was lifted New spot, we found my old guitar You're dancing around with your arms lifted And you sang along like you'd never be gone And we were high on nothing but living and loving Running down something called a dirt road dream Our own little world, one boy, one girl Seventeen and riding that sweet southern breeze Lifted, like a prayer from a sinner Lifted, checkered flag, finish line for the winner Lifted And we were high on nothing but living and loving Running down something called a dirt road dream Our own little world, one boy, one girl Seventeen and riding that sweet southern breeze Lifted, like a sail in the wind Lifted, girl let's go back again Heat Rises
