Tough scene to watch. The abuse of Suellen. This is the point when their marriage unraveled. It had been a ticking time bomb for years. His cheating and the neglect of her is what ruined the marriage.

winogirlll it's nice to hear about "Dallas" and old times.I have loved the show ever since it's debut in 1978 when this scene from Winds of Vengeance was first broadcast.

Maybe because it aired in 1978 that was before "Dallas" 's 1980s heyday.like, it debuted in 1978 and it wasn't too much noticed in its first two years but then there was the "Who Shot JR" episode in 1980 and the show experienced a major turn around.

Here's a sad fact. Florence Ballard of The Supremes was supposed to sing "People" from Funny Girl starring Barbra Streisand in 1965 when they were to make their Debut at The Copacabana, but Berry Gordy said no. Ironically Diana Ross with some justification idolized her. She admired the fact that Barbra won an EGOT (Emmy Grammy Oscar & Tony) and had alot of control over her career. In Later Years many of them would "Sing". Linda Gray with Mac Davis on His TV Special (who wrote A Little Less Conversation) whose remix was popular in the UK., Victoria Principal with Andy Gibb, Patrick Duffy Sang as did Larry Hagman on The Midnight Special, and then Charlene Tilton attended the American Bandstand 33 1/3 Anniversary Show in 1982 where she saw alot of legendary performers many of which are no longer with us. Carl & Dennis Wilson (The Beach Boys), Bobby Hatfield of The Righteous Brothers, James Brown and Maurice White (Co-Founder Of Earth Wind & Fire).
