Dallas - The Book Depository - JFK Historical Sight - Dealey Plaza Texas

This is Dealey Plaza in Dallas Texas. This is where the famous Zapruder film was shot. There are two X's marked on the road. They represent where he was shot twice. I was surprised at how close the book depository was to the road. In my mind I always thought it was like a sniper shot. But it was actually quite close when you see it in person. The site was really busy and there were surprisingly few memorial type things. There is a museum in the book depository but sadly we couldn't enter as they require you to book days in advance. The grassy knoll was also closer than I pictured it.
This was a fascinating look at a massive moment in US History.
