I still remember this Episode like it was yesterday. Earlier in the day, Miss Ellie was saying to Sue Ellen that Pamela should be more involved in The Family and be more accepted and she says "But Miss Ellie JR says!" I know after what happened, she never felt the same about him again.

In future years as you know Larry was a Raging Alcoholic. When they did one of the Reunion Movies, JR said that the Doctor weaned him off of the "hard stuff" Instead he had Tea because it looked alot like Scotch.

Ray was so m uch JR's "Boy" back in the day. He felt he owed it to JR becuase JR convinced Jock to make him his ward after Margaret Hunter died. Ray would soon discover that being JR's Friend wasn't all that good. Garnett McGee anyone? Also it's eerie to know that Ray "Had" all of the Ewing Women with the exception of Miss Ellie. Lucy, Pam, Donna, Sue Ellen and Jenna (although she wasn't an actual Ewing Bride).
