It's similar when you are at the Basalt biome in the Nether, that biome has a lot of grey particles floating in the air too!

The particles are from the spore blossom. They are so you can make particles portable. Great for decoration, especially for enchanted or fantasy areas!

All those flying green particles are from the Spore Blossom.It's not a bug it's meant to give the lush caves more atmosphere.They have a pretty big radius.

A major tip for those moss carpets is you hide light sources under them, it adds a really nice way to light up a yard or whatever without disrupting the grass too much. Maybe this is obvious but I'm kinda dumb and I had these things for ages (From the last beta where you could get moss blocks from sunken ships) not sure what to do with them

Maybe you can make the "Amethys room" in lab as a randomly generated structure. And make a little bit of story, that you find this structure while building lab, and now you observe Amethys there. :)

The spore blossom, the pink flower, gives off the particles within a certain range of it. I think it’s like a 10 block radius or something so it isn’t a bug
