Jake, my son lived in Columbus while serving in the military. We went and saw the Chattahoochee River. I only knew it because of the Alan Jackson song LOL. I started watching your videos because my grandsons were watching you. I asked them about you, we sat and watched for a long time. They love watching you. I used to do a lot of diving in my younger days but not anymore, Plus at 58 its a bit cold over here in the UK. Would love the chance to dive that River. At the camp that I go to in the summer, me and my friend were tired of seeing all of the crushed beer cans and bottle caps shoved into the hard clay from people running them over with their golf carts. so at the end of the season ( before everything closed for the winter) we decided we to pick up all of the filth that people ignored. And we filled 2 plastic shopping bags with plastic, a medium sized kids bucket with garbage, and a huge bucket with trash (all empty when we started) the big bucket was like 2.5, 2.6 feet tall... And I kid you not... We went fishing after we picked up and once we got back, there was just as much garbage as when we left... I was disgusted. so now, next year after the end is gone and it opens again, we started a gang called The Sweepers. And in April when it opens we will sweep up all of the garbage. It makes me feel good that there is someone like me who cares about what's in the rivers hurting the fish and birds.
