It would be great for PDP to concentrate on solving its own problems and not waste its energy on other parties. Those parties should be left to carry their cross. I also think placing the current PDP situation at the doorstep of Damagun is unfair. They hate to hear this, Atiku created the current problem with his refusal to provide leadership for the party in 2014 when his sense of reasoning was eclipsed by his do-or-die ambition and led five governors out of the Party. That was when the Wike Monster had the opportunity to blossom as he assumed the position of leadership and started funding the party in all states. While I would not even advise Atiku to pick Wike as Vice President (for stability), Atiku should have massaged his ego and not treat him with disdain as he did after the Primaries. Let Atiku save the party now, with his arrogance and sense of entitlement.

Damagum is elected as deputy vice chairman from the northern zone and the law states that he takes over leadership in the absent of the elected chairman. But can't appoint an individual to head appointed officials except through convention
