The Damascus Chef Knife should perfectly balanced with the center of gravity just at the guard.

Yours looks good, just be carefull that the moonlight doesn't reflect off it when out on a mission.

feel sure the blade was darkened steel with the broad arrow stamped near the hilt.

It may well be a thing of video scaling but I don't seem to remember my issued knife being quite as long.
