I stopped collecting Storm awhile back because it got too expensive. However I make an exception for Ryu and especially if he’s different enough from his previous Storm figs. I preordered this on Amazon but it won’t be her until Jan of next year.

I almost got the Street Fighter V alternate Ryu with the beard. The articulation and sash on this one are appealing features. I'm happy they managed to get more thigh twist.

Any chance you can post some size comparisons with more traditional 1:12 figures? I know Storm runs big, but this looks like it can just barely fit into a 6” display.

I really see a lot of improvements with the SF6 line. Body proportions, the head sculpt seems much more accurate. It really feels like he stepped out of the game (Luke included). So, my only wish is that they continue with this consistency and at least finish the SF6 line or get close to it.

That's how Ryu's always been drawn. SF6 gets closer to photorealism, but there's still plenty of exaggeration going on. On another note, the World Tour campaign has Ryu mention that he got this gi from Gouken, not Oro. It's rather amusing that both of his masters have asymmetrical outfits. I will concede that the color definitely brings Oro to mind as opposed to Gouken's gray look.

I wish you did articulation in more detail like before your last 20 or so videos you just put them in a pose and i cant see the range which doesnt help...

What do you mean? You wish for more details? Or less posing? Just trying to clarify since i may be doing something subconsciously and not noticing

@@DAmazing You used to go over head first then shoulders and arms and then the rest of the body checking the range etc.And after that you would start posing the figure.Nowadays it seems the figure grasps you due to it being fun and you start playing with it but not checking the range because in fighting pose sometimes i cant see how far we can push the articulation and that either makes or breaks the figure for me.I cant see the range on elbows,head and other parts. I would like to see the return to form where you check every part of the body like you used to i think it would only take aa minute or even less and then pose the figure. Thats why i started watching your vids since you always went into a detail when checking the figure I would highly appreciate this as these days only anthonycustoms and unparalleled due indepth articulation. Thank you and sorry for being lengthy!
