I kinda love the new legends one as well. He is such a gr8 sculpt for a ML. I like Mafex one as well, but i have to say - my Carnage of the year reward goes to Hasbro.

I believe the mouth thing was based n his first appearance. when Mark Bagley drew Carnage, the mouth wasn't hollow, It was more like it was a mask, and whenever he opened his mouth, the pink would cover it.

DHL showed up today. Lost all enthusiasm the momement I opened it. QC riddled Piece of shit. The left ankle rocker is so loose the foot falls off. The right ankle rocker is so loose it can't hold a stance. The right bicep is floppy and falls off just like the problems a lot of people had with Wolverine. I'm extremely unhappy with this thing.

The revoltech fig is killing this one! The really bad thing about that is MAFEX makes THE BEST high end premium action figures in my opinion and they have since 2018 when they overtook sh figuarts in quality! The only thing that the revoltech fig lacks (like the venom revoltech fig) is the human face head sculpt. I give Mafex kudos for that. The very surprising thing about this figure not being as great as the other one is that they had the advantage of releasing their figures after revoltech and the spider man one killed it (2019 figure of the year IMO) and then they went very basic and early 90s comic strict with carnage. I don’t understand that one because it’s basically just missing the dunk! I mean he doesn’t even have the claws like the marvel legends spider carnage Ben Reilly fig or the revoltech and for carnage that is as basic as putting venom’s tongue out on his figure. Each successive figure in mafex’s spider man line got progressively worse. Like in today’s era, there’s no reason why venom and hulk figures should not be big and monstrous and spider man figs should not be thin and wiry. I dunno...
