I love this design of the cyborgs so much more then any of the latest cyborg designs.

Probably because early MK cyborgs were literally bodies implanted with cybernetics and the new ones is just brain, spine, pop in to a robot body and bobs your uncle. Also nostalgia and the new ones are extremely detailed yet the old ones are simple.

I dig that man. The classic Cyborgs are the best. The current designs are way to busy. Just keep it simple and to the point. Like Ryu and Chun Li. They both still look great and they've been that way for over 2 decades.

I love the new redesigns. I think they make the characters look fantastic, and it shows a bit of growth to the characters. But the classics will always be badass as well

I like the modern designs, but there's something about the klassic designs that have their charm. To me the old designs still hold up.

Cyrex looks very cool. The energy didn't work on Shao Kahn in the game. I think Ed Boon and his team knew Storm Collectables was going to produce these figures and made it a game mechanic straight away 😁

Cyrax is, and has always been one of my favourites, especially in MK3. I'm happy to have this (and the other cyber ninjas) in my collection. My only gripe with the figure is that he doesn't come with a lot of extra features, compared to his counterparts. I wish he had the helicopter head to do his fatality (which I know was an extra added featute in the special edition) but I wish we got a blood puddle and extra bones/torn limbs to mimic his self destruct fatality- which is one of my all time faves (perhaps he should 've had an open arm panel). Despite this, it's still a fantastic figure.

Great review man! Those pics, wow! Classic poses, and you found great ways to use the accessories. While I was waiting in the Mezco booth for hours on Thursday, my wife went to the Storm booth and picked this up for me. It was a toss up between Smoke and Cyrax, but I always preferred Cyrax. I do wish Storm gave him the spinning chest blade though.

@@Sosaliukang yo man! google storm C's MK SDCC 2017*, they made the Liu Kang Dragon Fatality (which is now previewed fully painted), and there WAS also a Test-Mold for Liu Kang (Unpainted and waiting for approval)!! so they are totally workin' on it, they might be re-adjusting body shape/sculpt (which looks like it needed work on the hairsculpt and pants) along with choosing appropriate colors, LiuKang and Dragon Animality are on its way, no doubt! it might even be a 2-pack?? who knows. along with this unpainted preview included Kitana, and some alternate scorpion with a big hood and swords on his back, baraka and cyborg body tests. The Cyborg mold opens up some really interesting options, other than the default three of Cyrax, Sektor and Smoke. Cyber Sub-Zero would work really well and, with a bit of creativity, a translucent MK: Deception Smoke could also be achieved.

I like the way you compare this with other toy lines such as dc collectibles , hasbro etc but you miss one very important comparison which is diamond select(marvel select etc) I think height of an action figure is one of the important aspect for a collector or atleast to me again, I like the height comparison part of your video.
