This turned out so good. Thing seems a little undersized but probably the perfect size for the era/look they were going for.

Exactly, back then Thing was just 6’0. Shorter than Reed, but stockier. Wasn’t until different artists started coming in and drawing him bigger that he started to look taller

Thing has always been a 6ft character. Way too many artists in the late 90s started taking "artistic license" with him and started drawing him as a 7 footer.

Mr. Fantastic is my favorite Marvel character and I've never been truly satisfied with the Marvel Legends versions of him. This Reed, however, from the head sculpt to all the stretching limbs is so superior and astonishingly cool. Hasbro needs to step their game up when it comes to the FF.

These look great! I've always had a soft spot for the Fantastic Four, and most of their outfits have a classic quality to them that works in any display. The cloth just adds to that classic look. Reed and Sue are my favourite members, and yeah haha, the Hickman run is what did it for me! That man just understands Reed, and this Reed looks like exactly what I want from a Reed figure. But I've always liked Sue and I'm glad we got so many accessories. Articulation could be better but she's still probably the best Sue figure we have. Those head sculpts look great!

It definitely feels expensive when you see it as the whole package, but at the end of the day each figure comes out to $105 which for Mezco isn't totally out of line considering they're also suitably loaded with accessories.

I'm so glad these are in scale with ML--it would have been criminal for Mezco to make them slightly out of scale with a line that has preexisting characters they can interact with. That Reed is also my most anticipated, as it seems to nail his stretching perfectly/within reason for a 1/12 figure while previous versions have had hits and misses.

My two favorite comics are Fantastic Four and Green Lantern. So I preordered this set immediately when it first went up. Can't wait to get this in hand along with Mezco Doom. At some point I'd really like someone to tackle spiky Thing but I doubt it'll be Mezco that does that.

This is a step above some of Mezco's recent releases, like Gotham By Gaslight Batman, they look better proportionate. Mr Fantastic and the thing are the best figures in this pack.

I was really happy with my ML F4 that these didn't get me but seeing them now, damn nice. What I'd pull the trigger on is if Mezco did some with the Full Circle style suits. I like my Thing more wide than tall so this works for me. Nice and square. I really like that it looks like a scaled down DS. I prefer it to the ML even. Mr Fantastic having basically a whole additional figure is OD. Thing with the jacket, Johnny with light up, and Herby as a bonus figure. It really makes that price easier. They look really good with other ML.

Nice review! Looks like a really fun set. I also had my doubts, but Mezco pulled it off. One thing I will mention is if you are considering getting this set or any Mezco products, consider buying from BBTS or another reputable source. Mezco’s customer service is absolutely terrible. Avoid the headache and buy from a source who will take care of you if something is wrong with your figures. I used to buy loads of Mezco products directly from Mezco but I learned the hard way that they will not stand by their products if something goes wrong. I had an issue with their Deluxe Wolverine set (uncured black paint all over the Sentinel base) and they gave me the runaround and never helped me out. BBTS on the other hand, are amazing when it comes to customer support.
