I loved this series when it aired. There were only three or four episodes though. This was my introduction to Dame Edna and Madge. It’s too bad she wasn’t better well known here in the US. This show could have run for years. Such brilliance. At least there are all of the shows she did in England and Australia that were made. I’m ever so glad to have seen Dame Edna live twice. So hysterical. So clever. Bravo and RIP Edna and Madge. Thank you for the magic and laughter.

That was fear. One can only play along with Dame Edna for so long before she inevitably eviscerates her guest with the last thing they were expecting. All of these American Hollywood A-listers were used to being pampered by hosts, they wanted Edna to do this to them but when the moment came, very few could contain themselves. Just look at the other interviews with the nervous inappropriate laughing, they were all shitting themselves!

Quite somber moment at 44.44 when Dame Edna quotes 'Most folks are as happy as they make up their minds to be' - Robin Williams for a moment looks quite reflective, kind of sad especially knowing what we now know of his depression struggles RIP Barry Humphries and Robin Williams

Kin Basenger was almost 40 when she appeared on that show and she was still hot. I always feel sad when I see Robin Williams, he had a tragic end. These shows were made about 30 years ago and that doesn`t seem like a long time ago to me, yet most of the guests who appeared on those shows are now dead. It makes me realise how short life is.

Because you're an immature celeb worshiper, and wants to turn these pranksters into something more important then they actually are, and to get ''likes'' hit's by abusing the emotional element to trick people in to comments, only ...it's not really working is it ?! ...did you cry when Mugabe died? No, apart from having dallen in a kettle with ''Panzher-Chocolatten'', R.W. was lot's of times, borderline Kindergarten humor, but most white people are extremely sensitive and very childish at times! Every single white Comedian, has dropped his trousers and ran bare ass in his career, and you all find it hilarious, then I rather watch Steve Martin Movies, everyone to his/her opinion, but ....cry ??? Chevy Chase is one of the biggest blunt TOOLS ever. I have never found him to be funny + never understood what all the fuss about him was; plus ---- he is a very cruel human being according to other comics who had the misfortune to work w/ him. Dame Edna sure knocked him off his high horse! Robin Williams stole the show near the end as only Robin could! Rue was such a sweet soul, a true _Lady_ --- all 3 are sorely missed now. May they all Rest in eternal LOVE in Heaven. ♥🙏

Different kinds of humour. Dame Edna relies on puns, innuendo and exquisitely timed bitchiness. That's why so many drag queens have emulated and copied her over the years. Robin Williams is much more physical farce and pushing scenes to the extremities of ridiculousness. The spiritual heir of someone like Carol Burnett (who btw I think was WAY funnier than Williams)
