However, in the 1960s and 70’s, being spat at and chased by skinheads with dogs and neither black nor white folk liked you because they thought you were an abomination... it’s refreshing to acknowledge MIXED RACE PEOPLE. Especially when they are now Presidents or, perhaps, knighted by the Queen AND possibly married to Harry! Here to stay, sorry for pointing out how proud I am of us as a ‘people’ often segregated by society and never addressed in the mainstream media because we’re not exactly black and not exactly white... so we don’t have any ‘right on’ brigade fighting our corner because they don’t give a flying fuck. It’s a shame she wasn’t asked to perform a song from the album. Would be a great way of promoting the album. Although in interviews since the album was made DSB said she wasn’t at all happy with the album. A shame as well because it will probably the last album she’ll ever record

I'm glad to know she wasn't happy with it, because the productionquality of that album was horrible. I really hope she gets David Arnold to come back and produce another impeccable album like The Performance again, especially if it were covers of other Bond Songs she didn't do, and with a proper orchestra this time (unlike when they sort of tried to do this in the '80s).

Sure, by todays standard of singers, Paloma sounds really good, but even then, if you put her up against someone like Jessie J, Jessie wipes the floor with her. Listen Daniel, music is personal, and if Paloma does it for you, then that's terrific mate....but in my 60 years I've seen and heard phenomenal singers, of which Shirley is one, and Paloma barely registers a murmur.
