Do the markers dry on the cup without smudging until you wipe them off?

Thanks! The only way it will come off is if you get it wet and rub. If you rub it while dry it will not smear at all. :)

Yes, I spray seal with rustoleum 2x 1-2 times.

So I saw this and immediately thought of presents for nieces and nephew for Christmas but since I'm making all the presents for family this year, all my regular tumblers are spoken for. Could I do this with a plastic water bottle or would that not work with the epoxy? Don't want to waste time and a cup testing it if it's already been tested!

If the plastic is a HARD plastic , not flexible and double walled they will work good. Walmart also has some great options if you want to pick up some stainless locally. :)

Wouldnt the marker rub off all over your hands?

Not unless you got it wet. I let it dry and run ed all over them and nothing came off on me.
