This is what Milwaukee needed most, another scoring option who can space the floor and give you instant offense, especially down the stretch when Middleton is their only consistently clutch guy on that end of the floor. Having that extra option of someone who can hit a big 3 or make their free throws with the game on the line is something they have desperately needed. And Dame gets to play without having smothering pressure on him at all times because Giannis and Middleton are there as constant threats. Their defense will take a hit but it’s still miles better than anything he had in Portland. This is a perfect scenario for both sides

They can hide any defensive shortcomings that comes with having Dam on the roster. This also makes Middleton the 3rd option with hoping he can still be an effective 3 and D type of player that can give you 18-20 points a night. An important part is that we didnt see Dame playing for a whole lot for a long time now (he never really had a chance for a title run), so now we can expect more defensice engagement from him... I think the defense of bucks will be still top 10 at least, but for the offense ... maaaan sky is the limit for real , we could have the next shaq and kobe type duo

Maybe I’m missing something but aren’t the blazers trying to rebuild why wouldnt they want more picks. Miami was offering all their picks and seemed like the best package for rebuilding. Jrue has said a few times he wants to retire after the contract and ayton is okay. This is great for dame the bucks are a great team and the suns got some good rotation players.

As a blazer fan I am slightly biased, but I think this will turn out to be a great return for the blazers. We most importantly get Damian to a team where he can win a chip, we give Ayton a chance to blossom as he can be a #1 option, We'll get a solid return for Holiday as there should be a bunch of suitors, and some picks even though they are way down the line they will come in handy as it is right around the time where Damian and Giannis's contracts expire. But most importantly, being a small organization, we dodge getting fleeced by the Heat in a terrible deal.

I had the same idea that Holiday gets traded to the Bulls too. It makes the most sense that if you are all in, get the best defensive pg that can run the offense. Top defense, offensive facilitating, and 3 point shooting. The Bulls can give up a future pick or a roll player

IMO the bucks will really miss that perimeter defence from Jrue, but on the flip side the suns have unlimited scoring potential so you’re going to need to put points on the board to compete for the chip this year. Plus giving giannis a CLOSER is going to be pretty cool. I agree with Kenny, Jrue will get moved again and probably make the trade look much better as a whole for the blazers

You can hype it up but with the drop in defence from Boston, Miami and Milwaukee, I think this opens the door for some younger teams to make some surprising jumps next season
