I think the only way that happens is if Giannis comes back and Dame starts playing like nash or hali and stays ready to hit the clutch shots if his number is called as that might be his single biggest asset in the playoffs.

I know it’s commonplace to talk about defensive breakdowns and miscommunications when you lose, but Dame has to understand the the relationship between defensive breakdowns and playing bad defense. Communication on defense only works when you can be certain everyone is playing inspired defense. Dame loafs in transition defense. He isn’t stout on the block. He’s not tenacious on the wing. He’s a very talented offensive player and great at making difficult threes. He makes the kind of shots that give his team a boost of energy. But he’s a major part of those defensive breakdowns and sounds like a politician at the podium.

Brook was pulled out of the dunkers spot the entire game. He was nowhere near the basket. Without him, the bucks line up has no length. Dame and Pat Bev are undersized. There needs to be another layer of offense besides Dame and Kris ISO. Plus in the playoffs, every body has to play both ways. Dame is an uncommitted defender and Pat Bev has 0 offense.
