Gong's album was mostly reggae compares to Chronixx who had other music besides Reggae I think....I'm still Chronixx biggest fan though....

Chronixx album in my opinion is better

Leonardo Mitchell But it wasn't too Reagge and that was the category they got nominated for
@leonardomitchell38696 жыл бұрын
In your opinion in which category Chronixx album must to compete for?
@cosmicwisdom9996 жыл бұрын
Leonardo Mitchell I love Chronixx more also and wanted him to win. I'm just thinking with logics and not my emotions here. Even his so call rival friends said that was apart of the reason they thought he wouldn't win..
@leonardomitchell38696 жыл бұрын
I understand... I think that both are great albums and must compete in the same category, but I think that Damian´s name and reputation got sightly influence in who won the award. But is ok. The Marley´s had won 80% of grammy awards in that category....figure out !!!

You guys really think thats the way it is? Than you cant be a rastaman,.. Dem bredren man... Him setup industry for opening opportunity's for other people, kids, sufferers,.... He has a family to maintain, he is also a bussiness man, reaching and searching for opportunity's. Dont forget we're in 2018. Rasta evolve with the world sir.
@davgar42416 жыл бұрын
@@HouseOfPetrol boss man, you can't tell me nothing about being a rasta....i was born in the culture....being around boboshante in bull bay, and niabingi....let me tell you this real Rasta humble themselves, real Rasta nuh hype...real rasta...nuh diss people...and you are missing the point. Am not attacking him for his any thing but his stinking attitude...mi a born Jamaican and mi a tell you this straight dem man deh can't get my ratings.... We nuh beg fren from people...we bun out hype, and support humility...dem man deh only sing about poor people in the Garrison, but never want to associate with poor people, so how can you respect such a one...ask what has the marleys ever done for Trench Town where their father lived...same thing goes for ziggy, he recently said he is not black...suh weh me a support and respect dem man deh fa....dem fi go weh bout yah...the only man me respect is Bob Marley because he didn't only sing about poor people but associate and relate with poor people....mi bun out all of the Marley children I personally dont respect, and nuh man can't come and tump me in a mi mouth fi talk the truth....
@HouseOfPetrol6 жыл бұрын
@@davgar4241 Yawdman, di whole ting about ziggy saying him nuh black, has been taken out of context, read the full lyric. Ziggy even talked about the confusion... Dis a di lyric: I’m not a Buddhist, I’m not a Christian, I’m not a Muslim, I’m not a jew. I’m not a what, I am a who. I’m not black, I’m not white, I’m not yellow, I’m not blue. I’m not a what, I am a who. I’m not a communist, I’m not a capitalist, I’m not a socialist I’ve got a view." Marley's dont associate with poor people? Dem open up tuff gong fi all young artist fi give dem a chance to break out, giving dem a platform. How many community services did they start in jamaica and afrika for the children? Lotta dem... Dont forget that they are now worldrenowed artists, and with that come's certain sacrifices. He now bought the prison to grow legal herb , and has ex detainees working the plants. All him try fi do, is good, with rastafari coming in 1st place. Him do it with good intentions... Yu think him badmind? Nuh like poor people, hate trenchtown? You cant really, honestly think that? He just evolved with the times... Just like he said, times change, the world evolve', so rasta evolve same way. Every day yu haffi be a rasta again. And also, nobody is perfect, he who sey that, cast the first stone. Im not a jr gong fanboy, but i really cant believe people think of him like that, he took the music to a whole new level, made other artist become famous, cause of collabs. All him do is for the good of people,the music, his family, and legacy. Dont forget he is not a rasta elder, he is still a young man with a life to enjoy. Rasta can enjoy themself no?
