Loved it made it simple I’ve just bought bought the 90d and spent a lot , I’m convinced to get one to complete my range of lens will be looking for a bargain mk 11 cheers

I have this lens. I think it does it's job capturing wide angles but I don't believe it is as sharp especially when you zoom in on the pictures.

Was important. I had one from 2009 to 2016 and it was a love/hate relationship. Keep it f8 and it’s fine. IQ was better than all zoom options until the 16-35f4 - but just sold that too. Have 15, 21, 25, 28 Zeiss lenses and it was redundant -but a favorite.

Damian Brown That’s just the wide end! I found myself carrying the 16-35 2.8 for wider with a 21 and 28. So I got the 15. Sold the 2.8II. When I had the 16-35f4, I bought the 25 for aperture. I sold the f4 to fund another Fuji body. For canon

wow that's some really good pictures and that makes me want to buy a full frame camera so bad i love how you see everything in the picture when using a full frame camera i got to have one so how much does this camera lens cost

To be fair it's more to do with the focal length of the lens than the sensor, but of course a 16mm lens on a crop wouldn't be so wide :) For example I used to shoot with a 21mm lens on Nikon Full Frame, when I went to Fujifilm, eventually, I bought a 14mm lens and got the same focal length equivalent, the same image as far as field of view goes - more or less! Full frame isn't the end of the conversation, but naturally a set up like this Canon and Lens is a great choice!

Not much better than version one, about filter you are wrong use slim if you need polarized or ND reduction, maybe for landscape you need Lee Filter kind of set up, but this is for all kind of Lens, and never put a UV filter on a high quality glass it is stupid, use lens cap for protection. The best of Canon Lens L series is there are build like tank but quality performance is not on the pair of the price, of courses build is very important when working through hard conditions that´s what to me justify the high prices of this Lens, no rival on that point

Glass is just as important as a body. And if you think it's more than a body, then you're shooting on entry-level bodies. This is a pro-level lens.
