This is a free sneak preview of MORE SCORE, the fan-supported bonus show that brings you closer to music makers in film and television.
Oscar-winning director Damien Chazelle sits down with his composer Justin Hurwitz ahead of their new film, BABYLON. Why Chazelle involves his composer long before his script is "final," and how he uses it to create storyboards. How the music of WHIPLASH and LA LA LAND were informed by music, and the challenges of bringing to life the 1920s-era BABYLON with all its brilliant, raucous and cacophonous musical splendor. Interview by Robert Kraft and Matt Schrader.

Haven't seen the entire interview, but there's a piece of music in Babylon that sounds very simililar to LA LA Land. I assume it was on purpose and it ties the 2 films about Hollywood together. If that's true, genius. Maybe a Hollywood trilogy in the works? Loved the film AND the score. Bravo

Noticed this too. I am not that sure that Babylon is the counterpart of La La Land but I like the term Hollywood trilogy
