I used to be a Christian who was always scared of praying. Not because I'd be hurt by the prayers, but because my prayers never seemed to get answers. My story took a better turn when I moved into NCCF family house, and was introduced to watching Mount Zion films (which is a compulsory weekly activity for the family). And then, I watched my Faith grow in quantum. Prayer becomes sweeter. Because, beyond the fact that my prayers would be answered, I'm glad that I'm communing with Someone bigger than myself. One thing I took from the Dele/Folarin scene is that no matter the depths we attain in our walk with God, we must daily and consistently contend for transformation. Dele, who had been longer in the faith could have easily handled the situation better. Easier said than done but that is why we constantly need the Holy Spirit to help us step away from our feelings and human nature/tendencies. God thank you for this, I have been so depressed having served God yet have been moving from one challenges to another. When Baba Gbengo encouraged Martins in his dreams. "If Daniel had escaped the lions den how would he have been promoted by the king... If Joseph had escaped the pit, how would he have become the king... This may be your pit but if God is for you who can be against you " I was frustrated to the point of commiting suicide several times, but I can't bear to go to hell if not I would have.... Praying and studying the Bible has been a problem, I hate myself,I hate God and I just fake my relationship with people but this word of God has comforted me. The part that really touched me today was the scene of Dele and Folarin, we should not say because we want to win souls for Christ that we should forget Kingdom protocol - every organization has a protocol. I am not a screen person, but i found about this movie Abattoir from social media and I decided to give it a watch and from one season 1 to this episode, I am addicted. That is not the issue, my first daughter is one who loves cartoon so much. But to amazement, I was watching this movie on my phone while she was sitting right here with me watching her cartoon. But the moment she heard the sound of the music and she asked then I said I am watching Abattoir, my daughter ignored the screen and joined me to watch Abattoir.
