OK ba ang MG cars? CHINESE ba ito or BRITISH ?

4 years na ang aking top of the line MG ZS Alpha. Nabili ko noong April 2019 as my first ever car. Nasa 43k+ km na ang odo. Ang napalitan ko pa lang ay headlight at stock battery. Walang idinagdag na accessories. Hindi ko pa napapalitan ang gulong. Wala pa akong na-eencounter na problema sa makina. Depende siguro sa nagdadrive kahit akoy baguhang driver lang.

Nakapag-test drive na kami ng MG5, CVT. OK naman ang performance. Para sa isang sanay sa 2.0 na makina, pwede na ang power ng makina ng MG5. Spacious naman ang loob at hindi masikip gaya ng ibang sasakyan, within the same category. At ang maganda pa, mahaba talaga ang katawan ng MG5. Dahil dito, feeling ko swak na swak ito pang powersliding o drifting. Kabitan na lang ng hydro e-brakes, mukang ang ganda ng pag-slide nito. Best of all, mura lang itong sasakyan na ito. Siguro ang nakikita kong disadvantage nito is yung durability, dahil hindi pa ito subok gaya ng Toyota; at yung availability nung parts. So kung daily driver at konting laro, mukang OK naman ang brand na ito.

worth naman bilhin ang MG at MG5 owner din ako...masasabi ko lng npaka stylish tingnan parang luxury car at mas less ang price nya kaysa ibang mga brand at mas advanced pa mga features nya..fuel effecient din nman....malaki sya kaysa toyota vios..regarding sa pyesa ay iba na ngayon via ecommerce na at marami na rin silang casa...at meron din nman silang customer service via chat kaya don't worry kung masiraan ka..mura lng nman din mga pyesa nya di katulad sa mga american brand na vehicle..

Tagal na nga nya actually... Pero pag dating kasi sa after sales like parts and service mapapa isip ka eh. I mean after 10 years.. will you still have the parts available considering na ilang beses na silang nag file ng bankruptcy. Para sa isang car buyer, it is still wise to lean towards sa mga japanese brand due to their reliability and parts. I have nothing against MG and just my perspective lang.

boss SAIC po owner ng MG hindi po yan simple company yan no. 1 yan sa Chuna, dito nga sa UAE dealer nga ng Porsche at Volkswagen ang nagbenta ng MG ung Ali & Sons, MG ZS 2020 basic model lang naman gamit ko dito 60k mikeage 3 years na at fresh pa rin gamitin 👍👌

I've been doing my research about these Chinese-assembled or Chinese-manufactured cars. I noticed how other countries, like first-world countries, review them and what their opinions are about them, and they get a lot of praise, only to find out that Filipinos are the only ones saying, "Oh, don't buy it; it's made in China." Napag iiwanan na sa mindset ang mga Pinoy. Chinese technology is already breaking barriers. What Korean cars (Kia, Hyundai, etc.) were five or ten years ago, these Chinese cars are today. We will be seeing more of them from now on in our neighborhood, and nothing will stop it.

MG ZS Alpha owner here unit is 3 years and 9 months goods na goods siya for me partida galing pa ako ng Toyota Vios. Lakas nga lang makabudol ng MG ZS ang dami ko ng pinalitan like busina, nagpalagay ako grille lights, tapos nxt project ko naman sound system and catback exhaust. Ung mga haters wala lang pambili mga yan 😂✌️

British MGs walang duda. Parang power tools ko lang 'yan na Black and Decker Hammer Drill na Made in England. Hanggang ngayon ginagamit ko pa at very satisfied ako sa performance. Now, MG is in the hands of the Chinese. I can only say sa mga buyers Goodluck. As for me since I bought my car it's always been the Japanese brand which I am very satisfied like my British power tools. Yes, they're a little expensive. But one thing is you get your money's worth.

@@spongeboob1451 He's talking about the MG. Tell me what's wrong with what I said of British made MGs? Even the British won't buy them. Now it's one of the better selling car in the UK. Chinese made MG won in the BTCC against the likes of Honda, BMW, Seat, etc. That is also true with Volvo who won the WTCC. Yes, a lot of Chinese made cars are total rubbish but that was a decades ago. It's still true to some extent. But now they have the technology and the manufacturing prowess, and they're investing on R&D more than any other car makers. The problem are the haters who dismiss Chinese made things outright, yet uses them if convenient. Specially Filipinos who has nothing to offer but those crappy tricycles (a symbol of Filipino engineering mediocrity) which ironically, some uses Chinese made motorcycles. Buti pa ang tuktuk dumaan sa drawing board samantalang ang tricycles, welding dito-welding doon.

MG5 coreplus user po. ako. masasabi ko lang. mali ata intro ng mg5. ang manual na mg5 have more features and look like mid range pero ang presyo entry level. ang coreplus naman at yung mga sumunod sa mg5 manual. cvt at at lang pero mukang entry level ang itsura. overall. maganda naman exp sa mg5 core plus. nag ka prob ako sa charger port at infotaiment. pero nagawa naman agad. cvt ang akin.. sobrang comfort. pero pag dating sa gas. nasanay kasi ako sa hyundai eon ko na 0.8. sobrang tipid ng gas, eto kasi mg5 is 1.5 kaya mataas. gamitin lang lagi ang eco. para makatipid. hindi ka manininwala nung hindi ko ginagamit ang eco. umabot ako ng 12k in 2 weeks haha . yung lang sir. hope maka contribute ako :)

Na-rent ko yan MG car. Malakas humatak yan at luxurious ang loob. Bukod dyan napaka stable ng manibela. Madalas one hand nga lang ako sa driving. E kasi nga CVT mararamdaman mo konti ang delay pero mabilis naman ang shifting.

Yun nga lng kc sa research ko ang sabi lng ng SAIC motor ay may regular supply parts na idedeliver sa pinas. Sa chery kc ang sabi nila andito na sa knila ang mga spare parts para kahit ano masira may kapalit agad, ang changan nga sabi pa nila kapag wala sila maprovide na piesa agad ililibre n nila yun piesa na hinahanap ng customer.

Ang conventional n pag lilinos Po kc Ng AC ay kinakalas para malinis Ng gusto Ang evaporator. Pag kinalas Po sya aalisin na Po Ang dating freon. Kaya nya sinasabi na lalagyan uli Ng freon. Meron nman Po mga AC shop na meron pang recover Ng freon after nila linisin Ang evaporator ilalagay din Po Yun narecover na freon dinadagdagan n lng Ng konti. Bago palang sa market, ibig sabihin mahirap maghanap ng mekaniko ns bihasa dito lalo nang mahirap maghanap ng piyesa. British badge sa made in china.
