A splendid home indeed. Absolutely practical without frills, and a lot can still be done to include other niceties like a cellar and bar area (especially considering proximity to Scotland and need for drams due to weather). I love it more because I am a golf addict despite my handicap 🙈

Hilarious! I really enjoyed your affectionate tour of this cozy home. Must be great in a Cornish winter with all the grey outside and all the grey inside. I liked the Pricipal Bedroom with its expansive view although I have viewed more of your properties with more charming outlooks. I suppose that it is all a matter of taste. I just felt that this would be a great place to work - the lounge dining and kitchen would make fa fine small factory space or art gallery! Sorry - not for me. I prefer UK trees to Arizona imports too.

I love where the house is situated, the views are spectacular, I love how light the house is with all the windows. The house certainly feels homely, however if I was a purchaser I wouldn't want any of the furniture. The house has a holiday home feel to it with the current decor. But for it to be someone's main home, I would imagine they would gut the house. It has a cheap hippy surfer vibe to it, almost a beachy restaurant feel. Definitely not a home I would be happy to have guests at. Such a shame the interior let's it down. One is paying for the view not a beautiful home.

The Omaze house up for sale, £3 million including furniture was the all in value at a point of a much stronger housing market… £4M is pushing it. It’s nice but currently surly £2.5 is pushing it 🤷🏻‍♂️

This is the house they won in the Omaze Prize Draw. Valued then at £3m. Aren't they being a bit greedy? They still have to pay running costs while up for sale and will get CGT on profit. Think I would prefer a quick sale and still end up a millionnaire.

I think you’ve been misinformed. It was purchased for £3.7m then £150,000 spent on furniture. It’s never been valued by anyone at £3m
