Natasha Howard effectively replaces both Temi and Nalyssa, an upgrade to both. Dantas is good because she is a good shooter with a quick, high release. Very useful to spread the floor and provide instant offense. She also takes up a lot of space when she screens.

It’s going to be very interesting seeing Dantas play for the Fever when they play an exhibition game with the Brazilian National Team at Carver Hawkeye Arena… 🇧🇷🤒🏀 People have been worried that there are not enough bigs have been signed but they forget that Dantas is still on the team. I’m so happy I got my Iowa girl and my Brazilian girl on the same team!!

So true you need players that can nail the 3’s for if one player has a bad game you can find out what played has the hot hands in that game and get the ball to her and there will be times other players will have the hottest hands and you must feed that player then for they are zoomed in that day !! Starting 5: CC, KM, AB, Howard and Bonner. Going to be masterful rotation on coaches part to get minutes for Lexie, Sophie, Colson and Dantas...and not lose the mojo from starting 5. Fever averaged 85 ppg in 2024....should be 90-100 this season....while holding teams ppg down with better defense.

Yes yes, unfortunately both Katie and Wallace are on protected contracts. That means the other team needs to buy them out. Fever can't directly trade them out. Katie was a killer in college but she's nowhere near as good as her sister. Wallace is so terrible she shouldn't be playing in the W. Who's going to buy them? Nobody. All thanks to Sideshow and Dunn Dumb Done. Sitting on all that butter and can't cook with it.

I am hoping Dantas is ready to go, cause honestly worried about AB height wise she’s short for 5, she’s same height as Rae Burrell and Rhyne Howard and they play the 3 and 2 spots. I have also noticed watching her in Unrivaled she’s back to her sloppy half-assed screens. I think she may also:still struggle against the better bigs in the league like Griner, Stewie, A’ja and Tina Charles.

AB is listed at 6’5” and has good footwork around the basket and is working on her middies. Last year when she matched up against Tina Charles, AB looked good. Unrivaled, 3 on 3, is not her game, agree about that. Love where Dontas game is now, pure shooter, at 6’3” she still can play the center position or the stretch 4, heard she was doing well, good to see some video!

Yeah, screens were definitely something AB needed to work on from last season. Hoping she gets some good time in with KP and the training staff before training camp to refresh on that. That's definitely an important need to contend for a championship.

Yeah, I think Christie was just in over her head as a head coach. Comparing her to Stephanie White...who was an assistant coach for the Fever Championship team of 2012 and has at least 8 years more experience as a head coach isn't really a fair comparison. But given that, I can't wait to see the difference in the team this year, the entire energy and confidence has changed in a good way. Add Kelly Kroskopf (also part of the 2012 Fever Championship staff) and they're in the best possible position to succeed.

Does everyone know that Dantas is 32 years old? People have been criticizing some of the new Fever players for their age but she’s been around a while as well. Drafted in 2012 in the first round. Last season was her first year at Indy.
