Idk if it's just me, but I've heard a few older gamers say the same and it's just that we don't have time anymore for modern gaming, whether it be having to download big files, the way the games are set up for future dlc to keep you invested or having to grind non stop just to compete with other players online, throw work , kids, friends and family into the mix you have very little time to actually enjoy video games. That's what I love about these old emulators, it feels like most games pre PS2 you can kinda just pick up where you last left off and not have to worry about controls or remembering what you were doing. Anytime I played God of War 2018 it took me like 30 minutes just to get the hang of the controls again, never mind actually getting into the game and having fun. By that time its time to sleep for work the next day

I honestly think Sony as a company doesn't care as LITTLE as people often make it seem, in the grand scheme. Not any less than Microsoft or Nintendo, which are also giant corporate entities that also want money and will try anything to earn it. However, in this particular case, they really did put NO effort in and did see this as a cash cow based on the then-current trend of releasing these mini consoles. They were clearly just trying to capitalize on the hype. Thankfully, the hardware is decent (the controller feels good enough) and it's somewhat made almost with the idea in mind that people would find a way to hack this thing. They didn't lock too much of its potential out so that's a positive.

The 50hz thing wasn't the emulator being flawed as you implied, it was the fact that several games used PAL ROMs instead of NTSC, so they were running as expected. Personally, I replaced the PAL ROMs on mine with the NTSC equivalents (and also updated to a later version of PCSXR internally). This isn't incredibly safe, but not dangerous enough to feel the need to avoid doing.

Great little bit of kit once it's modded and it's as you point out very easy to do so. I'd say It was worth the price for the cool PS1 shell alone but yeah I've certainly got far more than my moneys worth out of it. I will say however that here in the UK they've jumped way back up in price in the second hand market, likely because people now know that they're amazing for custom emulation. I'm definitely now getting an OTG adaptor and wifi dongle, hadn't thought of that before so thank you for the idea, that's awesome.

Repent and follow Jesus! Repenting doesn't mean confessing your sins to others, but to stop doing them altogether. Belief in Messiah alone is not enough to get you into heaven - Matthew 7:21-23, John 3:3, John 3:36 (ESV is the best translation for John 3:36). Contemplate how the Roman empire fulfilled the role of the beast from the sea in Revelation 13. Revelation 17 confirms that it is in fact Rome. From this we can conclude that A) Jesus is the Son of God and can predict the future or make it happen, B) The world leaders/nations/governments etc have been conspiring together for the last 3000+ years to accomplish the religion of the Israelites C) History as we know it is fake. You don't really need to speculate though because you can start a relationship with God and have proof. Call on the name of Jesus and pray for Him to intervene in your life. - Revelation 3:20 Revelation has been unfolding since Jesus died. The Popes have claimed to be equal to God and set themselves in Jesus' place (antichrist(s)). Vatican City (Which is its own nation BTW) have risen up to fulfill the role of the false prophet Regarding the man of lawlessness or antichrist, 2 Thessalonians 2:4 says “Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” The restrainer that the Apostle Paul was referring to in 2 Thessalonians was the Western Roman Emperor, who held back the Popes from taking power. Once the last Western Roman Emperor was removed from power in 476 AD, the Pope was given civil and ecclesiastic authority over Rome; healing the deadly head wound of the beast in Revelation 13, as they took the Emperors title of Pontifex Maximus, leader of the church and state. “We may according to the fullness of our power, dispose of the law and dispense above the law. Those whom the Pope of Rome doth separate, it is not a man that separates them but God. For the Pope holdeth place on earth, not simply of a man but of the true God.” (Source: “Decretals of Gregory IX,” Book 1, chapter 3.) Pope Pius V blasphemed, “The Pope and God are the same, so he has all power in Heaven and earth.” (Source: Pope Pius V, quoted in Barclay, Cities Petrus Bertanous Chapter XXVII: 218.) Pope Leo XIII declared, “We hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty.” (Source: Pope Leo XIII Encyclical Letter, June 20, 1894) The antichrist sea beast of Revelation points to the office of the papacy, the Popes of Rome, who controlled the Roman beast for 1,260 years, from 538-1798 AD. Daniel 7:25 says “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.” The Popes of Rome spoke against Elohim and proclaimed to be God. They reigned for 1,260 years, from 538-1798 AD. during which they caused tens of millions of saints to be killed. The Pope’s title is Vicar of Christ, which in Latin is ‘Vicarius Filii Dei’, and equates numerically to the number 666

I've been dipping my feet into the waters of emulation lately, (modding my Wii U, sideloading emulators on iOS, other fun things) and I'm just blown away with what people are able to accomplish. I've never owned a PS1 Classic since I never saw the value in it (or had any games I was interested in), but I do have an SNES Classic that has yet to be modded. I might leave it alone for the time being, there's not a lot that compels me to mod it yet as of now. But I'm still interested to see what it can do!

If you have a modded Wii U then you already have a better system to play any of the games you could on a mini SNES. Wii U modded is probably "one of the best" consoles to mod.
@Piximator2 жыл бұрын
@@wils35 Oh yeah, absolutely. The moment that I managed to pair my wireless N64 controller that was intended for the Switch with my Wii U with no extra effort just blew my mind. And that's probably just scratching the surface, emulation is also really good on that thing.

@@Piximator It's a great console. Native Wii Support as well. Supports the wii motion control whilst outputting a better video signal than original Wii. I think I have every NES, MASTER SYSTEM, SNES, GENESIS ROM on that system. GameCube can be played on it. My favourite use for the console though is playing Wii games on it installed on hard drive. Super Paper Mario etc.

Dude, thank you so much for this video. I pre-ordered this, but before I even got it in the mail, I saw how crappy this thing was and when I got it, I didn't even open the box. I now have a reason to open the box. I was also a huge fan of the psp, so I'm definitely going to emulate my psp games on this. I've always wanted a way to play my psp games on TV.

Great and very simple explanation. I did exactly as you said, all steps except that the ps classic doesnt recognize all the cores that I unziped from the link that you provided. I transferred the cores in the games folder, in the roms folde and also in the flash drive (not in any folder) but still it doesnt recognize any cores. When I go to retroarch, only the Sony (PCSX Rearmed) is recognizable. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance. UPDATE: For the cores to be recognized, they must be trasfered to the USB:/project_eris/opt/retroarch/config/retroarch/cores
