FOSSE was such a genius! Who else would have a baseball team doing cartwheels and strut around like drag queens?

"Who else would have a baseball team doing cartwheels and strut around like drag queens?" Perhaps Jerome Robbins who had New York gangs prancing around Manhattan in West Side Story doing choreographed ballet routines? ;-)

It's from a Broadway revue celebrating the life of Bob Fosse, called "Fosse." I may not have seen this in the show when I did, but I assume this made its way in and out of the show as an opener for Act Two. Bob Fosse was original choreographer for "Damn Yankees" on Broadway, and the choreography for the dance section of "Shoeless Joe from Hannibal MO" was recreated for this Broadway revue. SIDE NOTE: It was recreated again for the 2008 City Center Encores concert production.

Where is the precision? This sure doesn't look like any of Fosse's disciplined choreography. Are you sure?
@coreycox23455 жыл бұрын
You are right. There is the same "slightly askew" concept. Precision seems to apply less with more dancers. Not in "Big Spender." Misdirection?

They're men. You sacrifice precision for masculinity, unless you want homosexuals performing.
