Even though I’m not that old (41), mom of three amazing kids (10,8,5 year olds) unfortunately I’m dying from cancer and this song reminds me how well I’ve lived my life and how your music was always part of it, since I heard you for the first time back in the 80s when I was barely 11 years old. When I was diagnosed my kids where (6y, 4 & 13mo). It has been a pleasure to watch you age so gracefully, I feel proud to have been a fan of yours just because you were never a low and controversial artist, and you were able to show the world you survived fame and family. Thank you for being the best. ❤️ Update: wrote an update down below, on the 4th of Feb, 2021 for those who have been asking, to thank you all, to say I’m fighting this thing with all my might and with the strong conviction of never giving up. I also wanted to sort out the confusion that some think I’m a man, so for the record I’m not a guy 😄

@@JDP319 WHEN JON RELEASED BLAZE OF GLORY HIS FIRST NO BON JOVI DISCO, EITHER JON OR BON JOVI IS THE SAME! RICHIE FEELS A BUCKET OF COLD WATER THROWN HIM .... JON'S FIRST EX MANAGER GATHERED THE GROUP FOR A CONCERT TOKYO 1991 NEW YEARS DAY ..... RICHIE TOLD BONGIOVI THIS BECAUSE JON TAKEN THE CONTROL NEVER RETURNED THE SAME BECAUSE JON IS THE MAN OF EVOLUTION .... BECAUSE JON YOU THE PRODUCERS PREFER YOU TO NOT ME ..... I HAVE 50 PERCENT AUTHORITY OF THE SONGS INCREASE ME DOUBLE MY SALARY BECAUSE I'M THE ONE WHO HELPS YOU WITH THE SONGS ... I MUST TELL YOU THAT JON SINCE 1991 KNEW PHIL XENIDIS THROUGH ALDO NOVA AND RANDY COVEN AND THEY MADE A TOUR TOGETHER BECAUSE HE PRODUCED ALDO NOVA AN DISC, BESIDE BILLY FALCON ALSO, BECAUSE JON INTRODUCED PHIL TO DAVID, TICO ... AND NEVER TO RICHIE ... THE LAST TIME JON SAW PHIL X WAS IN 1993 ..... GOING BACK WITH RICHIE AFTER THESE DAYS OR BEFORE THAT RICHIE HE WOULD START LOSING INTEREST IN WHAT HE WANTED TO BE? FOR EXAMPLE HEARTS BREAKING EVEN JON WRITES IT BECAUSE RICHIE ASKED HIM PERMISSION TO BE WITH HEATHER LOCKEAR THAT SHE WAS MUCH MISSING AND BOSS GAVE HIM PERMISSION ..... WHEN JON STARTED MAKING FILMS AND RECEIVING GLOBAL NAMES, OR ... CHARITY EVENTS THAT MADE RICHIE FEEL AND I WAS WORTH, RICHIE PUBLISHED TWO GOOD OR LESS REGULAR DISCS AND THEY WERE NOT EXISTING ..... JON NEVER WAS IMPRESSED BY HEATHER LOCKEAR AND RICHIE AND HE KNEW THAT IT COULD HAPPEN A DISASTER HE SAID IN 1997 ..... WHEN JON WRITTEN THE SONG IT'S MY LIFE PASSES THE LYRICS TO RICHIE AND THE OVERWHELMED WHO IS FRANKIE IS FRANK SINATRA, WHO WILL CARE ABOUT YOUR SONG ... I DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SONG .... YOU CAN SEARCH CRUSH TOUR ON KZbin OR ITS MY LIFE RECORDING ON KZbin YOU WILL SEE HOW JON WAS ANNOYING AT THE SAME TIME YOU WILL SEE RICHIE HOW JON SEE TO TAKE THE PRODUCTION OF THE DISC SERIOUSLY THE SAME HAPPENED WITH BOUNCE THE DOCUMENTARY YOU WILL SEE RICHIE THE SAME EXPRESSIONS .. ..OF TOURING IN 2000 RICHIE WAS STILL GOOD NOT TO THAT SPARK OF TIMES IS TO SAY HE WOULD START CUTTING THE GUITAR SOLOS AND DRESSING LIKE ALLMAN BROTHERS OR STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN TO WEAR RIDICULOUS HATS ..... OR THE TIME THEY WERE IN A PROGRAM IN MEXICO 2002 WHERE THE BAND ANSWERED ABOUT RICHIE WHO USED TO PARTY WITH WOMEN AND IS MARRIED AND HAS A DAUGHTER, UNTIL 2005 CAME WHERE HE HURT HIS ARM AND FOR NOT SUPPORTING THE BANDAGE HE STARTED DRINKING ALCOHOL WITH PILLS, AND THEN LEFT IT UNTIL AT THE END OF 2005 THE UNEXPECTED CAME UP ... HEATHER LOCKEAR DISCOVERED AN EMAIL WHERE RICHIE HAD RELATIONSHIPS WITH HER SECRETARY BEST FRIEND ... SHE ASKED FOR DIVORCE. ON THE OTHER HAND, RICHIE'S FATHER DIED FROM CANCER THAT SAME YEAR ..... HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH DENISSE RICHARDS WOULDN'T WORK VERY WELL, FOR EXAMPLE LOST HIGWHAY WAS AN DISC THAT JON NEITHER HAD PLANNED TO RECORD, HE WOULD NOT HAVE DISCOVERED THE DISASTER TO COME .... ON LOST HIGHWAY TOUR 2008 JON GAVE SEVERAL SOLOS TO BOBBY BANDIERA BECAUSE MR HAT WAS PLAYING VERY BAD OR WAS DOING IT ON PURPOSE WHAT JON WAS ALREADY BORED OF RICHIE, IT CAN BE SEEN IN THE DOCUMENTARY WHEN WERE BEATIFUL WHERE RICHIE SAID THAT HE DID NOT HAVE THE STRENGTH TO FACE HIS PROBLEMS OR HAD SAID IN 2007 THE ALCOHOL MY GREAT ENEMY .... I WILL NEVER DRINK MORE ...... WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF RICHIE HAD STAYED .... .. EVERYTHING WOULD HAVE GONE TO THE DRIFT BECAUSE WE CAN TOUR WOULD HAVE BEEN A DISASTER .. IT WOULD BE OVER. I COULD TALK ABOUT THE EVOLUTION FROM 2015-2019 .... IT IS NOT THE TIME AND GREAT THINGS HAVE HAPPENED

This ain't a song for the broken-hearted No silent prayer for the faith-departed I ain't gonna be just a face in the crowd You're gonna hear my voice When I shout it out loud It's my life It's now or never I ain't gonna live forever I just want to live while I'm alive (It's my life) My heart is like an open highway Like Frankie said I did it my way I just want to live while I'm alive It's my life This is for the ones who stood their ground It's for Tommy and Gina who never backed down Tomorrow's getting harder, make no mistake Luck ain't enough You've got to make your own breaks It's my life And it's now or never I ain't gonna live forever I just want to live while I'm alive (It's my life) My heart is like an open highway Like Frankie said I did it my way I just want to live while I'm alive It's my life You better stand tall when they're calling you out Don't bend, don't break, baby, don't back down It's my life And it's now or never I ain't gonna live forever I just want to live while I'm alive (It's my life) My heart is like an open highway Like Frankie said I did it my way I just want to live while I'm alive (It's my life) Traduzir para o português

His voice has aged, sure, but mainly, he blew out his voice years ago because of poor singing technique. I think it was during the slippery when wet tour. By contrast, listen to Bruce Dickinson of iron maiden. He sings as well as ever and still hits all the high notes. Not really trying to criticize, just make an observation.

To be honest I don’t understand why everyone is being so negative about this, saying it’s hard to see him now, singing this song so differently and referencing it to him being older now. I mean look at this man. He is not even 60 years old and to me he doesn’t seem like an old, broken man who is about to die any day now. He still looks so damn good. If he were to dye his hair, you wouldn’t even think that he is 58. His voice is different today, yes, but even that could be repaired if he seriously wanted to. In my opinion, this man is at the peak of his life and he has many, many more happy and successful years to come. I don’t like looking at it like he’s a walking dead man. He is still more attractive and charismatic than 99% of the „young“ men these days. This is an entirely different version of the song, but I’d like to see it as a calmer and more grown up version, than the original one. Love the song, love the band, love the man.

Justin fucking bieber and Lil fucking wayne and then these kids who are the generation after those artists WHO HAVE NEVER BEEN EXPOSED TO ANYTHING DECENT What the fuck are they going to amount to and what are they going to produce musically if they decide to become artists Seriously, to quote THE BREAKFAST CLUB now.. this is the thought that wakes me up in the night LOL i dread the day mate, i dread the day
