Even though I’m not that old (41), mom of three amazing kids (10,8,5 year olds) unfortunately I’m dying from cancer and this song reminds me how well I’ve lived my life and how your music was always part of it, since I heard you for the first time back in the 80s when I was barely 11 years old. When I was diagnosed my kids where (6y, 4 & 13mo). It has been a pleasure to watch you age so gracefully, I feel proud to have been a fan of yours just because you were never a low and controversial artist, and you were able to show the world you survived fame and family. Thank you for being the best. ❤️ Update: wrote an update down below, on the 4th of Feb, 2021 for those who have been asking, to thank you all, to say I’m fighting this thing with all my might and with the strong conviction of never giving up. I also wanted to sort out the confusion that some think I’m a man, so for the record I’m not a guy 😄

HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH DENISSE RICHARDS WOULDN'T WORK VERY WELL, FOR EXAMPLE LOST HIGWHAY WAS AN DISC THAT JON NEITHER HAD PLANNED TO RECORD, HE WOULD NOT HAVE DISCOVERED THE DISASTER TO COME .... ON LOST HIGHWAY TOUR 2008 JON GAVE SEVERAL SOLOS TO BOBBY BANDIERA BECAUSE MR HAT WAS PLAYING VERY BAD OR WAS DOING IT ON PURPOSE WHAT JON WAS ALREADY BORED OF RICHIE, IT CAN BE SEEN IN THE DOCUMENTARY WHEN WERE BEATIFUL WHERE RICHIE SAID THAT HE DID NOT HAVE THE STRENGTH TO FACE HIS PROBLEMS OR HAD SAID IN 2007 THE ALCOHOL MY GREAT ENEMY .... To be honest I don’t understand why everyone is being so negative about this, saying it’s hard to see him now, singing this song so differently and referencing it to him being older now. I mean look at this man. He is not even 60 years old and to me he doesn’t seem like an old, broken man who is about to die any day now. He still looks so damn good. If he were to dye his hair, you wouldn’t even think that he is 58. His voice is different today, yes, but even that could be repaired if he seriously wanted to. In my opinion, this man is at the peak of his life and he has many, many more happy and successful years to come. I don’t like looking at it like he’s a walking dead man. He is still more attractive and charismatic than 99% of the „young“ men these days. This is an entirely different version of the song, but I’d like to see it as a calmer and more grown up version, than the original one. Love the song, love the band, love the man.

When jon passes, it's gonna be a fucking sad day for me (and i'm sure a lot of others) all our gods are getting on their way Jon and bon jovi, including Richie Kiss ACDC Metallica the big 4 and i can't help but wonder , what the fuck is the world gonna be left with in around 40 years. Justin fucking bieber and Lil fucking wayne and then these kids who are the generation after those artists WHO HAVE NEVER BEEN EXPOSED TO ANYTHING DECENT What the fuck are they going to amount to and what are they going to produce musically if they decide to become artists Seriously, to quote THE BREAKFAST CLUB now.. this is the thought that wakes me up in the night LOL i dread the day mate, i dread the day

@@martinkuliza Don't worry too much, I'm 17 and was raised on Bon Jovi as well as many older bands. I know people my age who also love Jon, AC/DC and plenty of other older bands. Although his popularity may diminish he won't die completely. There are still modern artists popping up that are as good as the older ones however they are often obscured but they're there if you look hard enough. And you may say everything you want but what is really brought me to be in love with metal was Dio. Queen are one of the greatest rock bands.

"It's my life" chorus in 2020 is telling many stories. It's getting slow, a little bit tired due to old age but I still feel a different freedom, not the break willing of youth, it's calm and tranquility of experienced man.

Jon is really doing great here considering how his voice has been so overused in 35+ years. I love seeing him smile, Bon Jovi forever.

agreed, this guy has been pushing his voice for a long time.
@survivrs4 жыл бұрын
@@paulinotou I get mad when people whine and bitch about it, but I'll bet they've never worked that hard in their lives. The songs from the new album sound great, they've been arranged so that his voice isn't pushed so much. I know he'd love to be able to sing like he did 35 years ago, and I have a LOT of things that I wish I could do that I did 35 years ago. We all break down eventually. Thanks for your comment timmy!
