Amazing and so clever, thanks for this great tip! Excited to implement it for some of my flows where I use multiple variables to call APIs (api-key, url, etc.). Thanks a lot!!!

I will definitely be using the ParseJSON approach for multiple immutables going forward, Damien. Thank you for your wisdom.

Bookmarked this video but just gotten round to watching it now. Really useful tips to pick. Using the compose to pick out variables from a JSON was really neat. Thoroughly enjoyed it and picked up a few nuggets. Thanks for sharing.

Solid video. I love simple, practical choices to make things more efficient (whether it's reducing API calls or making things run faster etc.).

Great! You don't look so tall in your videos The multiplication of variables in the Power automate also slows down the execution. solution with the 'Parse Json' action is very creative. As an alternative, I also use a 'select' action with an empty array as the source to have a grid that's easy to fill in.

So if the value comes from the trigger, is that an immutable variable? And if it is say, a date/time that needs converted for some actions, does that change your answer?
@DamoBird365Ай бұрын
@@McIlravyInc a value from a trigger would be immutable as the source is fixed but you could create a copy of it if needed 🤷♂️ converting a date/time could be done direct via an expression if needed. But if you need the same date time string throughout the flow run, I would say you could use a compose.
