@speaker00001 you could say that about any manager/agent. You must keep in mind though the middleman may seem useless his job is beyond criitcal. For artists performer ect.. it is important to have an individual who is stricly focused on the non technical aspect of an artists career and overall development. Although Jay Kanye and the whole ROC are sucessfull because of their own individual skill, the likes of Dame and any manager makes their lives easier while also opening new doors for them.

At the end of the day dame is only doing half the work jay is doing. Dame doesnt have to write dope lyrics, produce music, or even design the clothes. If you think about it... he made his money off the backs of other people... kanye made dope shit for jay z. and jay z performed. They made classic records consistently. Dame was just smart enough to be distributer and marketer (aka. make sure the shit gets into the stores) which is relatively easy with lots of cash in the bank.
