Saskia Kellmann when this video was made through he didn't die really it was au but it's like the vidder was seeing the future because he actually died three seasons later but he was brought back thank God and they knew they had to bring him back since Damon + DE have the biggest fan base so they couldn't let him die for good or the show would he over lol ppl may not like it but more ppl love Damon and DE than Stefan and SE, and they like to say it fanservice but if it was DE would've happened sooner because we wanted it from day one lol ppl just use that as an excuse when the truth is DE was ALWAYS the love story IMO - they got the big moments, their SCENES had the most emotional and intense weight to them, they had the journey from being strangers to dislike to getting to know each other and becoming friends and growing an understanding and seeing the best and worst of each other AND feelings developing and getting stronger, ppl throw that sirebond in our face when 1) it only existed because of her feelings for him as HUMAN 2) it's not why she loved him she loved him in 3x01 and she still chose him in 4x23. this got long and probably makes no sense but ppl say DE was fanservice and it just pisses me off because they happened in the books, KW wanted SE in the end but DE was the couple together and SE wouldn't of made sense, IDGAF what he said about SE was the intended ENDGAME even if Nina was there all s8 it still wouldn't of made sense after all the damage they did to SE they would need more time than that, they had a perfect opportunity in s6 to put SE together when Elena lost her memories and only knew the bad things Damon did but not only did SE not happen but she fell in love with Damon all over again even choosing him as a human. this comment makes zero sense but ppl always it's fanservice when 1) we wanted it in s1 AND it took us until s4 to get together 2) it's based off a book and DE happened and we're endgame in the books so both ships had to happen on the show, ppl would throw stones if it didn't lol ppl can believe what they want but IMO DE was ALWAYS the love story because they got the journey, the buildup, the intense meaningful raw emotional scenes, yes sleeping together a day after SE breakup but we edited four fucking years we had to sit through four seasons of SE, they said we had DE all s3 um maybe but they had SE in a relationship for 2 1/2 seasons so we deserved 4 seasons of DE, also ppl just need to stfu, DE had the biggest fan base because they had a real love story and journey, they had the best chemistry! sorry for the novel I get carried away with DE lol this probably made ZERO SENSE to anyone but in my defense I've had only two hours sleep after being up 32 hours straight lol
